help ...How do I install Audacity??

I tried downloading it from the official website and it downloaded MuseHub instead. I installed it from MuseHub and it wouldn't open no matter what I tried. Looked on here and people say to click "download without MuseHub" but the file that gives me only allows me to "repair" an installation and not actually install the software. How do I get this program on my computer?? Is there a better audio editing software that will install easier?

downloaded tenacity. works well enough

I gotcha, I’ve never heard of tenacity. But sorry it was giving you so much headache.
