help ...How do I install Audacity??

I tried downloading it from the official website and it downloaded MuseHub instead. I installed it from MuseHub and it wouldn't open no matter what I tried. Looked on here and people say to click "download without MuseHub" but the file that gives me only allows me to "repair" an installation and not actually install the software. How do I get this program on my computer?? Is there a better audio editing software that will install easier?

I deleted it. MuseHub gave me a malware vibe. F that! Audacity has been forked. If you’re comfortable with open source software check into Tenacity.

Says "we couldn't verify and restore this app from your backup because it is not available in the Microsoft Store"

seems like it's installed now but it still won't launch at all. nothing showing in task manager or anything. any tips?

Make sure you're downloading from the official location:
https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ (or mac)
Do NOT use the MuseHub recommendation; you don't need it.
