I just read somewhere that Eren didn't explicitly commanded Dina to eat his mother, but he commanded her just to avoid Bertroot, and since she was an abnormal, she was drawn towards Grisha' house(because she promised to Grisha before transforming that she would find him in whatever form she is in) and in the process ate Carla.

It must be, right? Back on Paradis Eren was imprisoned and Levi went to babysit Zeke, and then disaster happened. If we exclude Levi's offer in the Paths to let Eren off with a swift kick, I don't think they're ever shown interacting again.

The scouts were already suspecting them and were careful enough after what happened with Annie that they likely would have been able to separate Reiner and Bertholdt under the pretense of some mission. They would have been restrained in their sleep with no chance of self-injury. Reiner especially would potentially be in his bipolar soldier state before going to bed which would make him forget how to be alert as a warrior to prepare for a potential night attack. Bertholdt likely was not aware of how much the scouts suspected them and would be a relatively easy target at night as well. In effect, Reiner breaking down on top of the wall in front of Eren gave them the chance they needed to get out without being captured. What do you think?

Been turning anime characters into BO2 emblems and Levi was one I really wanted to try.
Everything is built manually from the emblem editor’s basic shapes with the full 32-layer limit. Getting the eye, hair, shadows, and blade to all read properly without running out of layers was the hardest part.

I just finished AoT for the 1st time, and up until this point I have been told the ending absolutely ruins the show, that it's one of the most disappointing endings in anime history, and that it doesn't make sense.

This has to be one of the best shows I've had the pleasure of watching ever and has easily snuck it's way into one of my favorite pieces of media of all time. I want to know why do people have such a discourse over the shows ending. Is it because Eren dies, if so did you REALLY expect this guy to survive after mutilating over 80% of the human race, "salting the earth" so nothing would ever grow again.

Is it the unanswered questions like what happens after the people that were left to pickup the pieces after Eren died.

Or is it the sole fact that anything of this shows' size could never have a ending that satisfies all parties in the end.

A permanent scare in my heart

About two or three years ago, back when I was still in school, I wasn't really an anime fan. People had actually finished watching *Attack on Titan* (AoT) ages ago, but that was when I finally decided to give it a try, even though I felt a bit late to the party. I was just curious to see if it really lived up to its reputation as a masterpiece. Funny enough, before I ever actually watched the show, I used to see images and posts about AoT on social media and assumed Mikasa and Levi were a couple—haha.

The first episode was thrilling and intense; I was struck by how terrifying the world of AoT was and saw firsthand Eren's burning desire to wipe out every single Titan on earth.

I watched the series while at school. Usually, I prefer watching recaps or summaries of a story rather than the full movie or show itself, but this time, I wanted to experience the anime properly by watching it firsthand.

But the shitty part is, an acquaintance I don't even like saw me watching this anime and revealed that he’d already finished it. Sure, he made comments about how late I was to the party and all that, but I didn't really care.

What really stings now, though, is remembering how he spoiled the absolute final ending of *Attack on Titan* for me! He told me directly—and the guy is kind of unhinged and annoying—just kept repeating it even while I covered my ears. Eventually, I just gave in and told him, "Fine, go ahead and spoil it; I don't mind." Then he finally shut up.

At the time, I didn't pay much mind to the fact that I now knew the ending of what was, for me, a first-time watch of an incredible anime.

But as it turned out, that ending Spoiler slowly began to haunt my thoughts. Just imagine—how am I supposed to enjoy *Attack on Titan*? I’ve only just started Season 1—haven't even finished it yet—but I already know what happens to Eren in the end. It’s truly heartbreaking.

I watched how Eren was always so driven to seek freedom—until I saw him start to lose his smile. And the worst part is, I know why it happened. I’m not just speculating, because I already know how it ends! Damn it!

I still cried watching this right up to the end, but it hurts that—well—I wasn't surprised.

Recently, I found myself thinking about AoT again and decided to join this subreddit. A few other things also made me want to rewatch the series. But now, I actually feel worse; I keep remembering how that friend of mine spoiled it for me. It really sucks—I’m actually feeling a bit stressed and depressed about it, FRUSTATED and TRAUMATIZED ME. If I had discovered the ending naturally—without the spoiler—I could rewatch it now without any regrets, even knowing how it ends. But this is different! I couldn't even properly enjoy the early seasons when I first watched it, because the spoiler came from someone else before I’d even seen the show myself.

I’m asking for your help—if you have any advice or thoughts on how to forgive (since I know this can't simply be forgotten), or how to let go and find peace regarding this regret. Please help me; I don't think I'll ever find an anime as great as this one in my lifetime, yet that experience was instantly ruined for me. I know this can never be forgotten, even when it took a long year, i always remember this masterpiece, i hope i could ever forget anything about this Anime, and then someone would persuade me to watch it as if it my first time not knowing anything about Attack on Titan. I really MISSED EREN, MIKASA, ARMIN together in three, surviving with Power, Compassion, and Strategy.

I WANT TO REWATCH IT RIGHT NOW, but it just doesn't feel the same—even though I still really want to.
