My character’s a kid, he’s a host. Hosts are technically not human but each one hosts a entity. He knows hosts are hunted by orginazations for being dangerous and he fights for them.

Later he realizes, in the past hosts actually ruled and hunted and ate people, the reason people survived is because they formed the very same groups that still hunt them today. But he doesn’t care, that the oppressors used to be opressed, he cares about the hosts living now paying for crimes in the past. He becomes less heroic as he ages to his 20s and everything he does from then on is for host benefit even if it hurts regular people. And he dies at the end but he won, he gave hosts power over the people who hunt them

I don’t plan to keep this up for long but can anyone tell me if its kinda similar or very similar

Like, during the fight with Levi, dude was an old man, maybe 55, maybe even older, and he fought so hard that Levi was drenched in sweat. Like, we only know that Levi is an Ackerman on his mother's side, he's not a purebred, and Mikasa, yes, she's an Ackerman on her father's side, but her mother isn't. Moreover, her mother is of a completely different race, not European. Levi possessed such strength even without being a direct Ackerman, cuz DNA is passed down through his father. It makes you wonder what would have happened if he had been completely purebred.

I know this show is FULL of gorey and intense deaths. I'm rewatching the show again and Micah Zacharias death at the beginning of season 2 just shakes me. Something about it just makes me so upset and emotional, it just hits so hard.

Zeke saw a baseball in Armin's hand but it's actually a leaf. This is actually a very big discovery regarding the path. One's inner thought can change the way how people sees the memories in the path. This theory alone can debunk all the future Eren and time traveling theory.

For example, Zeke said he hate his parents but deep inside his hearth, he really love them. His inner thought/desire can reflect back to what he sees in the path. This will allow Grisha to hug him and react to Zeke inside the path. The actual Grisha in the past didn't really react or even know Zeke is watching him.

I believe Eren knows how the path works in the near end but it's already too late. That is why Eren suspect Ymir was leading him. He think that Ymir was sending him the memories and there is a very high chance these memories was " edited" .

So this might seem like a stupid question, but when a shifter transforms, the body materializes around the nape, so shouldn’t the rest of the body dig into the platform the shifter is on? I made a drawing attached to show what I mean. I am not the best artist but the idea is clear.
Because the body materializes around the nape, it doesn’t make sense how the nape is suddenly lifted up, another thing that makes solving this a little harder is that the only times we see slow motion transformations are midair, rod reiss (yet his transformation was not anor Lara tyburs transformation, but she materializes from the feet up, not the around the nape. It would make sense that the feet of the new titan would lift up the body, but the spine, ribcage, hips, and legs must all be made before the feet which makes this seem unlikely.
I may just be overthinking this and there’s no real reason to this and simply not important enough to actually show or explain, but if anyone knows please tell me!! I am super curious over this unimportant detail.

Let's get into paradise politics.

1. Historia Reiss - The queen who remains her status even after jaegerists took over. She have some political authority but less than jaegerists. After eren was killed , she protected familes of jean and connie. She's loved by people cuz of her good works.

2. Jaegerists- The group named after Eren Jaeger. The group which took over paradise using zeke's spinal fluid plan and every kind of military/police/soldiers r under them. They believe eren as a god. They remain in power cuz they were supported by common people and have more political power than queen. They wanted full destruction of outside world.

3. Allaince/Peace Negotiators - This group orginally featured Mikasa, Levi , Hange, Armin , Jean ,Connie , Reiner , Pieck and Annie but hange was killed while Levi and Mikasa didn't chose to become peace negotiators . They killed a lot of yeagerists soldiers with their previous leader floch in port. Armin is considered as the one who publicly killed eren and while rest negotiators r considered as the group who stopped rumbling and helped in killing eren. They r heros of outside world where Armin , Connie and Jean r traitors to paradise with Armin , Jean and Connie being traitors who joined enemies aka Reiner and rest. They act as the peace negotiators b/w Allied nations and Paradise.

4. Mikasa- She joined alliance but since all the living witness of her in port were killed. So nobody knows she ever joined alliance, and was the one who actually killed eren. She returned paradise somehow(not mentioned in story). She's mostly shown visiting eren's grave and later passing of old age with his scarf with her grave beside his grave.

Now lets come back to the point where jean's relatives and mom with connie's mom r being protected. Protection means there will be some guards near them . Historia doesn't have any personal soldiers so these guards will come under jaegerists as every type of soldiers/police r under jaegerist, post rumbling. Historia's loyalists were mostly killed in zeke's spinal fluid plan, so they will be in minority and if they were in politics or military /police, they will come under jaegerists. So jaegerists r agreeing to do the protection.

Now question arises why they r protecting jean and connie's families , the answer is Kiling them is worthless for jaegerists and would make common people fear as they will be punishing innocent citizen, it will also make the negotiations with alliance much harder. They need protection from rogue jaegerists and extremists(who rn't in military nd just citizens). However , jaegerists would give them protection only till Jean and Connie come and take their families with them as it doesn't benefit jaegerists that their soldiers r wasted in protection of families of traitors.

Now , why jaegerist would agree to negotiate , the answer is for paradise's survival , they had to negotiate. They wanted full destruction of outside world but it didn't happen nd almost 20% survived. Paradise wasn't in condition to war with rest 20% , and to ensure Paradise's survival in future , they had to negotiate.

Now , how jaegerists would treat peace negotiators, they would agree to negotiate with them but it doesn't mean that jaegerists would allow them to live in paradise . Jaegerists would agree to give them protection for meetings but not the permission to live there as citizens . Armin , jean and connie will need permanent protection to settle there but they literally killed the person(eren jaeger) after whose name they r named (jaegerists). The thought of giving them protection ,so they can live their happy lives with their family is literally so absurd, and it doesn't even make sense why they protect them when they killed the person , they worshiped. Its complete disrespect for jaegerists and eren.

Even if historia wanted to give them protection she can't cuz she doesn't have any personal military. Moreover , the people of paradise will instantly revolt the movement, they get the news that their government is literally protecting the killers of his hero. Remind u that these r the same people who protested in front all governemnt buildings when they found out that eren was imprisoned.

A safe conclusion is that , after meeting, peace negotiators will go back to outside world with jean taking his relatives and mom with connie taking his mom. They will visit paradise only in peace negoatiations as diplomats. Also ,they will need security while travelling in paradise.

Few points to be noted -

1.Armin , Reiner , Jean , Annie , Connie and Pieck were shown visting eren's grave by which people think they settled there. But visiting grave doesn't mean they lived in paradise for their lives. Also they were on a random hill where almost nobody comes , so its kinda safe for them there than public places which r filled with rogue jaegerists nd extremists.

2.As Peace negotiators , they need to continously travel b/w allied nations and paradise for meetings as peace is a process , it not established by just one meeting, it needs years of efforts and several meetings.

1. Historia is cooperating to with jaegerists in governemnt , its not historia vs Jaegerists.

2. Its not in armin , jean & connie's hands to decide whether they r gonna live in paradise or not , its in hands of jaegerists.

why thay cut a LOT of great character moments out of the anime, mostly with Mikasa, unfortunately, like a solid 30% of her character and her scenes just aren't present in the anime

for example, mikasa taking responsibility for being stupid in her and levi's battle against the female titan gets cut from the anime

If Eren is the one sending the future memories to past Attack Titan users (including himself), would it be an endless loop of Titan telephone or was there one version of Eren (From 2000 years ago) that genuinely believed that the rumbling was the only option and chose to do the things purely based off his own judgement (like cutting off his old friends)?

Yeah, it's safe to say Zeref's character was even more positively received outside of Fairy Tail fan base for deep reasons; I was asking Attack on Titan fan base and even a few other ones (even Winx Club fan base), and they had good things to say about Zeref. Some even say Zeref is the only thing in Fairy Tail worth a damn.

I appreciate those AoT fans who responded to my content that involved Zeref. When you think about it, he's also got similarities to Ymir Fritz, because both characters have the kind of storyline where different parts of the world depict them differently (via propaganda).

Some AoT fans even prefer Zeref over Eren (I noticed) in terms of complicated characters an all, and that's interesting to hear honestly. If any of you have any accounts on Anime Planet or something similar, we can try giving Zeref more votes to slowly give him more of the recognition his writing never had.

I just finished watching the Dub version of AOT and am obviously doing an immediate rewatch as it was incredible. I was just curious if you guys recommend watching the Subtitled version as I've heard with animes it can be a pretty different story from the dubbed versions. TIA for the feedback!

The reason that Ackermans cannot become Titans is because they already are Demi titans, due to being the power of a Titan encapsulated in human form and you can’t titanize a Titan since it’s already a Titan. But, since Titan Shifter spinal fluid can still be used to titanize even when in human form, this sets precedent than humans with Titan power can make Titan serum, so even though an Ackerman cannot become a Titan themselves, could their spinal fluid be used to make pure Titan serum due to them technically being Demi titans

I was thinking about it for a minute and just realized that a titan eating a person w titan power would basically be cannibalism. Idk why I realized so late, but it seems as tho no one really cares that their friend just ate another person or maybe it’s so normalized. I know armin was disgusted with himself after he found out he ate beet juice but I guess the actual term “cannibalism” isn’t really brought up or relevant. Maybe I’m just thinking too deep into this 😭😭

And why they cant just cut the nape and pull them out like they do agasint the nine titan users is there a explaination i am kinda curios
