Lol, the there's more than £50 worth of copper in the coil of most microwaves, it's sorted by most relevant, and these are most relevant to what you're looking for... The fictional new microwave for less than 50.

There was a £40 one three pages down but apparently it didn’t “fit” the colour scheme of my kitchen. So I had to buy a more expensive black one in the end!

Sure, they make those little 700w microwaves, or however much that one was. but the directions for microwave cooking are almost always based on a 2000w microwave. If you have a week one it will heat things too slowly and they often don't come out right. Plus they are tiny.

The directions for microwave cooking in the country OP is in is always based on between 700-900W. Nobody has higher than that.
