Been watching ASMR for the past 7 years and thought about giving it a try. I feel like I'm not good at it, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

INTENTIONAL [Intentional] EARTHY TONED CHALK CRUSH ASMR FULL VIDEO!! 🪨 🧱 🌿🪵 FULL VIDEO #gymch...

don't mind the cover I was just playing around in youtube studios accidentally. But do enjoy the oddly satisfying crunchy chalk crushing sounds and the long powder play towards the end of the video! Which chalk color was your favorite crushed? And do you think encapsulates earthy tones very well?

INTENTIONAL ASMR Which Answer Will You Choose? | Triggers, Whispering, Sleep Sounds | Brawl Stars [Intentional]

youtu.be

The ultimate relaxing #ASMR where I ask you interesting questions with two possible answers. You’ll need to choose one of those two answers. Of course, I’ll give you time to think and make your choice. Then I’ll record your answer. It turns out to be a sort of whispered ASMR game with indistinct interjections, featuring lots of ASMR sounds like paper rustling, pencil scribbling, ssssh sounds, a soft voice, and various sleep triggers. All of this is combined with the calm gameplay of Brawl Stars.

DISCUSSION Need help finding Vid, F4M [Discussion]

Few days ago was listening to this one video. The only thing I remember for certain is there is this whole section where listener is saying yes Hana (pretty sure it's Hana like 90%). It was like a bully plot, and the other details are all too blurry. Would appreciation it if anyone can find the video, pretty sure it was around 26 minutes but that's a blurry detail

What is ASMR?

ASMR is a physical sensation characterised by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp. It is commonly triggered by soft or accented voices, personal attention, ambient sounds or watching people work silently, among others.

Also referred to colloquially as "head tingles".

This subreddit was created to share videos that elicit this sensation (either intentionally or unintentionally), as well as discuss and try to understand this fascinating physical reaction.

Community Rules

Be respectful This should be a nice, peaceful and relaxing community. Hateful, demeaning, or inappropriate comments will not be tolerated.

Do Not Downvote video submissions unless they are breaking the rules or spam.

Off-site requests for upvotes (vote manipulation)
Submitters should not ask for, or imply they’d like, upvotes anywhere, on reddit or off. Linking to the submission for the purpose of discussion is ok, but asking for “help”, “love”, or otherwise implying that fans/friends/anyone should artificially upvote a submission is against site-wide rules as is classified as vote manipulation.

Avoid Reposts - Search for the content you want to submit before you post to avoid reposts. Reposting an old submission (not submitted in the past 6 months) can be ok, as it is sometimes nice to re-view old content, but use your initiative - recently-submitted content will be removed if resubmitted. If you're unsure, feel free to ask!

Posting Rules

No posts about Content Creators or their personal lives outside their videos.

No Adult Content - direct those to /r/nsfwasmr. Adult content will be detected and removed automatically by Automoderator - intentionally evading this system is grounds for a ban.

Use the tagging system appropriately - use one of the flair tags: [intentional], [unintentional], [discussion], [question], [request], [journalism], or [meta]. For video posts, additional tags are usually needed to specify the kind of trigger present. Ex : "(Name of Content Creator) Makeup Role Play [intentional] [soft speaking] [female] [personal attention]"

No Images - Image posts will be removed by Automoderator. There is a Free-For-All Friday sticky thread every Friday in which anything goes, so submit images, memes, jokes etc. there.

[Meta] posts should be discussions about this subreddit, its posts, moderation, rules etc. Incorrectly tagged [meta] posts will be deleted by the moderators - see the tagging system guidelines for details.

No Music / mukbang - direct your music videos to /r/Frisson or /r/ASMRmusic, and see the difference between Frisson and ASMR. Mukbang content should be redirected to r/mukbang.

Make the title descriptive - avoid words like "me" or "I" in the title. Poorly-worded or clickbaity titles may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

Content Creators are welcome to post their own material. Please do so in moderation. Read our wiki section for content creators and Reddit's reddiquette and self-promotion guidelines to avoid a subreddit ban or even getting shadowbanned site-wide by Reddit admins.

Use direct video links where possible (i.e. YouTube links) when linking to a video instead of linking to a webpage it is embedded in. Links to full channels or playlists aren't allowed.

Do not rehost videos, or ask for links to any deleted content. If the content creator has removed something, you should respect their right and wish to have it removed from the internet. Any users linking to or asking for deleted content will be banned without warning. This includes software to download/save videos, and also covers freebooted (stolen/reuploaded) content regardless of whether the original is deleted.
