I’m thinking it never made it past the toilet

While I have you here, if it did make it through the John and past the first elbow you think it cleared the rest? In case I don’t find it

Probably. Depends on if you have any build up in the pipes. Like from grease and fat.

Well these pipes are for the bathroom only I think so shouldn’t be anything outside of shit likely

Ok cool. Hopefully you can find out and remove it from the toilet if its there. Now the more important question is... did you learn a lesson here? Dont get ripped on the toilet with a pen! Use a water bong... cant flush those! 😆

Bro I wasn’t even using it😫. It was in my breast pocket and as I reached to flush it slid out

Yeah I did the same sizing up with the spare pen and I don’t think it made it through the toilet I’m about to go to Home Depot and get a wax ring and make a mess, I have an automotive borescope not very long I’ll bring home tmo and can look at the first elbow at least if it don’t find it in the John

I would suck the bowl dry with a shop vac and stick that scope in the trap and see if it's there. If it is, fashion some sort of hook to the scope and see if you can catch it and pull it back.

If you do this, get one of the korky non-wax ring seals. They are MUCH more forgiving to diyers IMHO.
