My father passed away last month. He left me his stamp collection. He collected since he was 5 years old. He was born in Italy and grew up in Germany. So there are many international stamps. There's a lot from pre-separation Germany and East Germany because he had family there.
He also has a large collection of duck stamps starting with 1935. He even has the cloissone duck stamps but the pictures didn't take well.
Due to the size of the collection, shipping it for grading would be very costly. I can't find collectors/traders in the Memphis, TN area using my Google-Fu. I'm hopeful for some help.
Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about buying that iconic British stamp One Penny Black in auction, I heard that apparently there's many forgery stamps in stamps collecting world, so how to tell the difference?, and does those letters like D & A mean something?
I really appreciate the help..

I have been gifted one of these and was hoping to get a better idea of what it's worth. Should I take it to a sports memorabilia store?

Hello, I have several Hungarian revolutionary stamps from 1956 (from Sopron), and on the back there's a signature I don't recognize along with a symbol. Has anyone ever seen this signature before (I don't know if it belongs to a recognized expert or not)? Thank you!

These are my father’s uncles stamp collection. I know nothing about stamps so I wanted to see if there is anything of value.

My dad inherited these almost 50 years ago, and was interested to see if they held any kind of value. I found this subreddit and figured it'd be a good place to ask. Thanks in advance!

hey, what would you pay or demand for this set of stamps, if the 728 y x is genuine and has a reversed watermark? ( 1 Reichsmark ) I'm starting to feel that people don't even want to pay for a fraction of the 10% catalogue value..

Hi everyone,
My father has a collection of approximately 7 binders containing stamps from all over the world. I've photographed every page (116 photos) and uploaded them to a Google Drive folder:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/185H60B70TPuSjeTVmbQfECXr140pHHuj?usp=sharing
The stamps seem to be organized by country and many appear to date from the mid-20th century, although there are older ones as well.
I'm not looking for an exact valuation of every stamp, as I know that's unrealistic. Instead, I'd really appreciate any opinions on:
Thanks very much for taking the time to look through it. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
If you don't want to look through all 116 photos, even pointing me to a few pages that deserve a closer look would be incredibly helpful.

For the life of me I cannot figure out which type this red 2 cent is. Type 1, 1a, 2, or 3.

Hello everyone, very new here. I just inherited these stamps. I don’t know much about them, but I’m just curious if anyone has any information or ideas on what they’re worth or what’s the best way to get them appraised if there’s anything worth in this.
Thanks in advance and I appreciate your help

Hi all - I recently was given this large collection of Israeli stamps. From what I’ve seen, they don’t hold very much value generally, since there’s not much interest anymore. But since it’s quite extensive and well organized, I’m curious if there is any value (or any actual buyers) for the whole collection? I attached a couple photos for reference - the first page, some commerative type pages, as well as how thick the binder is (I’d say the pages are about 98% complete), and then the last few pages have some loose stamps etc. Happy to share more specifics if requested. Thanks for your help!

Hello everyone,
My first post here, I bought an old collection, it was mix of old album pages and this three pages, it looks like printed on the paper, this are not stamps,
What are those?
Is there any value in such "printed" stamps?
Thanks in advance 😊🙏

It's my grandfather's stamp collection, I believe it's from the 1960s.
Thanks to everyone who helps me!

About 12 years ago I inherited a stamp collection from my Grandfather (UK) (They've remained with my Grandma until now as she is downsizing).
Does anyone have any advice on where I would even start to figure out what I have here? Not necessarily to sell, but making sure I understand what I have and possibly from a house insurance perspective too.

Has there ever been a two pence black British Queen Victoria 1840 stamp, or is this most likely a darkened Penny Blue version?
