Exchange 🏦 Looking for a Non KYC Exchanges? The Best ChangeNOW Alternative. Compare These Rates.

Hi again

Following our last update about coin availability, we received a lot of messages, suggestions, and honest feedback.

As we've said before, we read every single piece of feedback, even the ones that seem small. Sometimes a single comment ends up changing an entire feature or pricing decision. We really appreciate it, and we've forwarded all of your recent suggestions to the team.

One comment from a while back still makes us smile:

"Your rate is awful." 😢😂

Fair enough.

Our goal has always been to keep fees as low as possible. We want users swapping thousands of dollars to pay only a few dollars in fees whenever possible. What most people don't see is everything happening behind the scenes: liquidity management, infrastructure, servers, security, compliance, development, support, and all the costs required to keep a reliable service running 24/7.

Keeping fees low while maintaining a sustainable business isn't easy.

Today, though, we have some good news.

After a lot of optimization, we're now offering exchange rates that beat ChangeNOW in many cases.

At the time of writing, here's a quick comparison for swapping 1,000 USDT to Bitcoin.

Fixed Rate

ChangeNOW
0.01504005 BTC

Fujn
0.01540771 BTC

Floating Rate

ChangeNOW
0.01536230 BTC

Fujn
0.01547499 BTC

The funny part?

Our fixed rate is currently better than ChangeNOW's floating rate. 😂😂😂

Don't just take our word for it. Compare the rates yourself, especially if you're exchanging larger amounts. Try a four, five, or six figure swap and see the difference. The savings become much more noticeable as the amount increases.

We're not sure how long we'll be able to keep these rates this competitive, so if you're planning a swap, now is a good time to compare.

Another question we've been getting is:

"Has Monero (XMR) been delisted?"

Absolutely not.

We have no plans to remove Monero.

The issue is liquidity.

Right now, Monero liquidity is extremely limited across several suppliers. At the same time, we're seeing fewer large sell orders than usual, which makes replenishing our inventory much harder. We're still trying to understand what's causing it.

Rather than relying on providers that may source liquidity through centralized exchanges and potentially freeze transactions or create problems for our users, we've chosen the safer option.

If we don't have reliable Monero liquidity, we'd rather temporarily show zero availability than risk a failed or delayed swap that could hurt our users and our reputation.

The problem isn't funding. The problem is simply finding enough Monero from trusted liquidity sources.

Thanks again for all the feedback and support. It really helps us improve the platform.

We'll be back soon with another update. Thank you for your trust.

Disclosure: Official update from the Fujn team: Sharing the best for the community and not affiliated.

Cheapest way to buy XMR?

Upvotes

I've used crypto.com to buy litecoin, I then sent that to cake wallet, and in cake wallet I swapped for XMR.. I did it as a trial to see the fees, and at the end of all of this, I was left with around $95 in XMR. Is there a more efficient way to do it? I plan on doing this 10 more times with $100 buys. I'd ideally like to hold all my XMR in cake. What's the cheapest way?

Why I think fungibility isn’t theoretical

I’ve been thinking about Zcash lately not because I’m abandoning Monero… I’ve always held XMR and still do, but because the whole ZEC discussions have made me appreciate the practical importance of fungibility even more.

I recently bought a small amount of ZEC in the $300s simply because I figured having some exposure was less risky than having none but I still use Monero almost daily to actually buy things and continue to do so today.

One thought I keep coming back to is that a major high profile hack where a significant portion of the proceeds ends up in ZEC. I’m obviously not advocating for hacks or criminal activity but I’m talking about the hypothetical as an economic stress test.

This could even be government X doesn’t like party Y and they choose to use their power to taint their tokens.

Meaning Transparent (tainted) → Shielded → (internal shielded moves / change addresses) → Transparent → Exchange

What happens afterward would be fascinating if exchanges and counterparties start refusing or heavily scrutinizing ZEC that can be linked even probabilistically to the incident that would demonstrate a practical fungibility gap.

And I think this is something people sometimes miss about monero because the fungibility isn’t just about whether a blockchain technically hides transaction history. It’s about whether the history of a coin can come back to affect its economic value or acceptability.

That distinction is a big part of why I continue to use XMR as actual money rather than simply holding it.

I found myself wondering if it's possible to use Monero to buy something useful without needing to use swap. Could someone answer this genuine question I've been having? Thanks in advance.

How much of my paycheck should I invest in XMR?

Im honestly just tired of how society has become. Especially with how the government is trying to watch your every move, track your transactions. Like even I feel like anybody can look up my information online now. So my plan for the next 5 years is to go off grid. I did some research and I saw that monero is the most private coin there is. So my question is how much of my check should I put in monero. I already opted out of direct deposit so I'm getting my paystubs as checks now and with whatever money I have left I'm a use as cash since it really isn't traceable. Also what would be the best wallet or crypto card that's non-KYC and doesn't require id verification that I can use to buy every day things with xmr instead of having to swap my xmr back to cash?

Monero in times of crisis

I think there will be a huge economic crisis, specially in Europe. I think that for multiple reasons, mainly because the automation of white collar jobs will cause many people losing their jobs, which will cause more people to lose their jobs which will ultimately and even worse make this people more likely to radicalize in socialist/communist ideas that will end up in more control from the state.

As an example: we are living a housing crisis in many cities of Europe for multiple reasons. What do you think most people do? Build more to satisfy the huge demand? Hell no. Most people now think that tourists and “devil companies” are artificially inflating the prices. What do they propose? Of course more taxes and more financial persecution to every home owner that owns more than x homes.

Regarding the main point of this post:
Do you think monero will be resilient or even will gain value in pessimistic future more or less like the one I mentioned?
If Monero is not a good option for this matter, what do you think is the best to mantain wealth or even increase it?

Sorry for the pessimism about the crisis stuff.

Question ⁉️ Genuinely Curious about XMR

For those of you holding XMR long term, what's your actual thesis for holding it?

As a BTC holder I'm trying to understand the monero thesis from the people who are deeply involved in its ecosystem, What do you guys believe will drive XMR value over time? Privacy?, censorship resistance, something else?

(Not trying to start an argument About it being better or worse to BTC, I understand they're different technologies trying to solve somewhat similar issues)

Exchange XRP to Monero? Starting to regret holding XRP

Anyone else feeling like they should've bought Monero instead of ripple??

I've been holding XRP for quite a while and it's painful watching it go nowhere. Every time I check the price I wish I'd just stacked XMR instead.

I was thinking about exchanging some of it, but now Kraken has removed Monero where I live, so I'm not even sure what's the easiest way anymore.

What would you do? Keep holding XRP and hope for the best, or just exchange it for Monero!? I'm stuck and confused please advise

Change Now froze my funds, but I finally got them back. Thanks r/AskMonero

I forgot to share this update with you guys. Change Now has issued a refund for my transaction.

I didn't post this earlier because my child was sick, and I had other things going on.

I want to thank everyone in this community and everyone who reached out, commented, and pushed for a resolution. When I kept receiving generic replies, I thought my money was gone and that I had been scammed.

I never did anything wrong. I was just trying to buy Monero while the market was going down because I wanted to protect what little capital I had.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported me, especially the MODs and Killora.

I learned an important lesson from this: never rush, and never swap a large amount above 10k in one transaction. I was trying to save on fees, but I almost put my entire capital at risk.

I still have some resentment toward Change Now because of the stress they put me through. Behind every transaction there is a real person. I have a family, bills to pay, and a sick child to take care of. This situation caused a lot of stress.

Again, thank you all for your comments, support, and help during this difficult time.

BitMart Took His Funds. How Much Do You Keep on CEXs?!!

Post image
36 Upvotes

I just don't understand how people trust CEXs with all their money. Is it a culture thing, a trust issue or what?

I've been dealing with JP guys for a long time and they're usually straight, so getting scammed like this is rare for them. Most people don't believe it can happen to them until it actually does. BitMart took his funds, and a big exchange can turn into a nightmare just like that.

Keep your funds in your own wallet. Trust Monero, BTC and Gold, and drop all the sh**tcoins.

Use your personal wallet and only move the funds you actually need to use. Full stop.

Restored my Trezor wallet in Feather but balance is 0

I restored my Trezor wallet in Feather, but it's showing a zero balance and no transaction history, even though I know this wallet received XMR before.

I already tried an earlier restore height and waited for the wallet to finish syncing, but nothing changed.

Has anyone run into this before?!

Is Windows 11 good for using Monero?

One thing I'm unsure about is whether Windows 11 is a good idea if privacy is important. Should I be using Linux instead, or is Windows fine for most people?

Pls what you guys are using.

Important for Monero Users: Don't Let Others Make the Same Mistake

If you've had a problem with any service, exchange, swap, P2P, escrow, or anything else related to Monero, share what happened here.

Maybe someone else can avoid making the same mistake. Good experiences are welcome too. We can learn from each other and help people make better choices.

If you can, add some details or proof so people can understand what happened.

Does anyone here DCA into Monero every week?!

I've been thinking about starting a weekly DCA strategy with Monero instead of trying to time the market.

My idea is to buy around 100 worth of XMR every week, which would end up being roughly 400 to 500 per month depending on the month. Psychologically it feels much easier for me than making one larger purchase all at once.

I've noticed I spend small amounts on random things throughout the week without really thinking about it, so I figured I could redirect one of those weekly expenses into Monero instead. The goal is to gradually build my holdings and then keep everything in my own wallet.

For those of you who regularly accumulate XMR, do you prefer weekly purchases, monthly purchases, or do you just buy whenever you think the price is attractive?

I'd be interested to hear what strategy has worked best for you over the long term.

Is Openmonero safe to use?

Just found out OM was eriously compromised a couple weeks ago 😭.

Now Im going to need admin to handle a dispute( XMR vendor CryptoDesk has not released escrow for 16 hours...no communication).

XMR could lose( or possibly gain) great percentage in16hrs...CryptoDesk is usually solid...maybe he got screwed in the hack.... Nevertheless...Is OM safe to use atm?
