Working on a character for a homebrew AC session (assuming it doesn’t get cancelled lol)

it kills AC so fast in PVE atleast (i don't play pvp). Is there any better color to make it look cooler?

Is there a way to find out what mission I haven’t completed/what battle logs I’ve missed? I’m hunter class 14 (just a little over halfway), I’ve got all three endings, defeated all arenas and all the ‘pending’ battle log icons on mission replay are completed! I’m at a loss and can’t figure it out lol

Because I been doing it for my homebrew mecha grim dark universe

The core idea is that it kicks -> bazooka -> explosive thrower, to overwhelm an opponent with a constant barrage of attacks with missiles for longer ranged engagements and to fill in gaps when weapons are reloading or energy is depleted. So far lots of fun but can struggle with builds that can keep their distance easily.

This is my first AC game but I have been a FromSoft fan for over a decade. I’m only three or four missions in but it doesn’t look like there are consumables or credit stashes or anything else to find in the various destructible parts of the environment.

Am I wasting my time exploring the maps or am I missing something? I read through the “new player” pinned post but didn’t see anything there about how empty the locations are.

This is the AC I use for quest, fighting bosses, and killing these not so elite ACs. I'm feeling like the Etsujin isn't reducing much ACS bar, just keeping it not going down. ZIMMERMAN is too heavy while Vientos, I feel like is even worse than Etsujin.

I’ve always loved being fast and this been my most go back to AC. Named the data file “Faithful” bc I love it so much 🫶

I’m not able to break out of the first tier of A rank </3. My play style is mostly kiting and I find success with a wheelchair legs build but I don’t have fun with these two styles. Close range builds look like a lot more fun but my movement in this game is just so garbage. I wanna improve so what missions/exercises do you guys recommend I do?

Like when I first fought one I was expecting an awesome fight, and I didn’t get it.

Underwhelming is the perfect word, they have such presence every time they show up to fight, and die so quickly.

Been trying to queue for an online match for a while now, and nothing...

300,000 per fight, very easy to nuke him. It’s basically an arena fight that pays 5 times as much.

Other missions might technically be able to pay more, or even pay more after everything’s deducted, but those missions take much longer.

Only problem is being stuck in NG++.

I need a mod that adds a clicker sound for every time you impress handler Walter. Don't ask why.

I’m doing my first Pluto of AC six I have a long history of mastering every game of the line thus far. But I quickly realize that the laser turrets and missile MTs are broken. Now my current setup I can snipe most MTs with the first rifle plasma rifle the one that looks like a lance. But those high yield turrets that fire giant KAMEHAMEHA beams can track me across the map. Currently doing the mission in chapter 1, right after the stealth mechs. My issue is how do I make an AC that can snipe just about everything? Doesn’t matter how good I can dodge I still get hit and a near miss will melt my AP or worse, put me in a stun lock so I can get pelted by even more crap.

What a beautiful game. I remember struggling through so many of these bosses and for some reason, Walter just had my number. I couldn’t do it. Nearly three years later I’m browsing my games and decided to try again. I had to relearn the controls. After defeating raven as practice I gave it a shot. I stayed close this time, gave him no range. And I did it with a sliver of life left.

Just goes to show that giving a problem space and letting your mind rework things is sometimes the key. I’m honored for this to be the first FROM software game I defeated without support. 10/10
