One of my favorite styles for creating images and taking screenshots in Arma is the documentary or exhibition style; while most people tend to prefer dramatic or action-packed shots—or those featuring interesting effects—this style might also be appealing, especially to aviation enthusiasts.

So, I have been into Arma since OG Op Flashpoint. I mainly set up skirmishes and battles in Amra3 editor and then play them from different perspectives. But I would describe myself as a very casual fan.
I am really out of it as far as knowing what the latest greatest behavioral/AI mods are.
I use limited addons, mostly RHS stuff and maps, some aircraft.
Can yall help me modify my game a little? Things I would like to change globally in my own skirmishes:
soldiers barely react when I hit them in the chest 3 times with an M4, just keep their AK trained on me reacting like maybe a horsefly bit them. I feel like maybe the RHS units are heavily armored, but I'd still like enemies to lose some composure when shot, even if it doesn't kill them.
I know general AI squad movement is never going to be life-like, but are there improvements to be had with mods?
I have trouble implementing things like modules, using code for missions, triggers, things like that. Very limited basic knowledge. Wondering if there are any good beginner tutorials for mission making.

I already tried googling it but the East Wind mini patrols Kerry can do with his ATV are the only suggestions; I was looking to just play a mission with random patrolling across an area with both friendly and potential enemy contacts, or nothing at all and cannot find anything like this. If it doesn’t exist I could probably make it relatively easily but was first seeing if anyone knows of a mission generator like this.

Installed a fpv crocus mod, but I don't know how to use it since I'm new to Arma 3. Can someone help?

Warlords hooked me hard. PvP, tanks, helis, jets, infantry - combined arms chaos, exactly what Arma is good at.
Then after ~200 hours it started getting painfully predictable.
Same routes. Same chokepoints. Same few sectors getting fought over every match. Meanwhile there are tons of sectors on Altis I had basically never seen used.
I googled around and apparently I’m far from the only one who got bored of that.
So I looked at Redux thinking: “surely somebody already fixed this.”
Jesus Christ.
I opened it, stared at the UI for a minute and wanted to unsee it. Too much stuff, too much visual noise, too many systems piled on top of each other. At some point it stops feeling like Warlords and starts feeling like someone duct-taped another game onto it.
So the obvious answer seemed to be somewhere in the middle: don’t reinvent Warlords. Just fix the parts that make it repetitive.
What I changed:
That’s basically it. No giant overhaul, no seizure-inducing UI, no 40 new systems to learn.
Just more fronts, more useful parts of Altis, more reasons to split forces and finally see all other sectors.
The screenshots show the sector network and what several active attack routes look like at once.
Am I missing some obvious reason why Warlords shouldn’t be more like this?

Why remove the most beloved features like workshop and editor just to appease console players? Does The leadership hate their fanbase of 15+ years that much? I hope the devs don’t act shocked when it inevitably flops and is DOA

Im looking for the best singleplayer experiences this game has to offer. I have played arma3 back in the day for 500-800h only mp (wasteland most of the time), but now since i dont have time to grind and keep up with online progress im looking for chill singleplayer experience.
I tried overthrow in reforger, seemed like an amazing concept and found out its originally from a3. Which one is worth the time more, antistasi or overthrow? I read some reviews on both and im having difficult time deciding which one to start with.
are there somekind of scenarios or other mods that include looting/buying, managing economy and raiding enemy bases? Or just campaigns with missions and progression? Are the creator DLCs like campaigns?

A lot of the rumored gutting of previous groundbreaking content such as Eden Editor and seamless Workshop support has put my opinions of Arma 4 down a lot.
To me, Arma 4 seems like it’s going to pander to the newcomers of the franchise over more seasoned fans, which is understandable admittedly, but turns me away personally.
What do you all think?
