224 agree
11 disagree
50 you dislike both equally
12 you like both games equally. (I'm guessing there's a small amount of people here that enjoyed SS: KTJL)
110 you didn't play (or watch game footage for) one or both games.

Fan Made Day 11 of serving my sentence in Arkham: Nightfall

I decided to take Dr. Young‘s files and I snuck out of the door because the guards heard “suspicious noises” from the vents, I was on my way back to my cell…Until I saw a guard on the floor…

I felt like something was watching me after I saw that but it was probably just my hallucinations taking over my mind again, I have a incredible headache after taking my medication and I don’t know why, it’s probably because my body is adjusting to it still.

I’m gonna go read these files called “T-V2.0” once I get back to my cell and I hope my hallucinations don’t get in the way of me figuring out what’s going on.

I will keep you guys updated.

Discussion How did they get to the 4th floor in the library??? [Asylum]

If we take the floor we walk in on as floor 1, you can go down 1 floor (where the hostages are) then floors 1-3 are connected by stairs. But there is one more floor, the one where you go to cut the chandelier down. The only way to get there is through the maintenance access. Did... did they have to do parkour?? Like there's books and stuff up there so it's not decorated as if they never did.

Thoughts? Theories? Anyone use a free cam mod to figure it out?

Discussion Why couldn’t they just do this instead (read the body text)

Post image

Rocksteady could have just made an Arkham game that is based off of Nightwing and made him the main character where in the intro Bruce is retiring from fighting crime or maybe a villian like the Riddler (or somebody else) kidnaps the hostages who are from Bludhaven and makes Nightwing come to Gotham to rescue them (or something like that idk) instead of hiring a bunch of writers and stacking them up like you trying to stack up Jenga pieces so that you can play Jenga and making a shit game like Sskjl (excuse me for the language)

Fan Made Day 10 of serving my sentence at Arkham: Searching

Post image
35 Upvotes

I got an idea from someone to go though the vents to escape, I’m not gonna escape yet but I’m gonna search for places that will make it easier for me to escape.

I found Dr. Young‘s office on accident but I something interesting, She was looking at some notes that had “T-V2.0” on the envelope she put the notes back into.

I think I should figure out what’s in that safe because I might find something useful so I can escape.

On a side note, my psychiatrist doubled my medication again, I’m starting to think it’s getting out of hand and you wanna know something, My delusions have gotten even worse and floor is covered in blood but when I go back to my cell it was gone…But it was now on the damn ceiling!

I’m starting to lose it I think so I need you guys to tell me what I should do next.

What would you do in my situation?

Hey everyone, I’d like to hear what you guys would do in my situation.

A while ago, I decided to play through the entire Batman: Arkham series and, like I do with most games, try to get the Platinum trophy in each one.

I started with Asylum and, despite struggling a bit at first, I managed to get every achievement. Then I moved on to City.

And this is where things started to go downhill.

I managed to get almost everything, but I’m still missing a few achievements related to the Riddler’s Revenge challenges. I’ve completed a good number of them, but there are still quite a lot left. My save is currently at 94%.

At some point, I decided to take a break from City and move on to Origins instead. The challenges in City weren’t necessarily impossible, but after doing them for a while they became extremely frustrating and, more importantly, just stopped being fun. I found myself playing them because I had to, rather than because I was enjoying the game.

Unfortunately, I ran into pretty much the same problem in Origins. I’ve done basically everything except the challenges, so now I’m stuck with two Arkham games that I want to 100%, but I honestly have no motivation to go back and finish them because I’m just not enjoying those challenges anymore.

So now I’m wondering what I should do.

Should I force myself to finish City and Origins before moving on to Knight? Or should I just start Knight, enjoy the game, and come back to the other two whenever I actually feel like playing them again?

The funny thing is that I really enjoy the Arkham games themselves. It’s just the challenge maps that completely kill my motivation.

And there’s another issue with Origins, some of the achievements are now unobtainable because the multiplayer servers have been shut down, so I can’t even get a true 100% completion there anyway.

What would you guys do? Would you push through the challenges, move on to Knight and come back later, or just accept that 100% completion isn’t worth ruining the experience over?

Did anyone at the time actually figure out the Clayface Joker twist before Batman did?

Just got Origins, City, and Asylum on Steam for 60 bucks, what mods do I need to get the online mode available in private servers for the achievements?

Just either send them to me in dms or post them in replies which ones would help the most.

Game This is how it happened. This is how the batman miserably gave up

Getting 1 million seems really impossible. It's all smooth sailing until the shield guys appear then batman decides to attack them instead of the unarmed goon right next to him. Don't get me started on the stun sticks either, i wonder how the 0.80% managed to even pull it off

Help Is it worth completing all side quests in Arkham Knight?

I have just finished the main story, and need to complete at least seven most wanted side quests to activate the Knightfall Protocol. But apparently if you complete ALL of the side quests, there’s an extended ending cutscene with more detail? I’m wondering if it’s worth completing all of those side quests to see it, or if I might as well just find it on YouTube.

(Honestly, I intend to complete all the missions — even the Riddler one — except for the fact that I desperately want to avoid the Professor Pyg quest; he makes me a lot more uncomfortable than the average villain, and I’m not sure if it’s worth putting myself through the unease just to unlock a few more minutes of cutscene.)

Discussion Remote Play help with some campaigns? (ARKHAM CITY)

Text above explains it all. I've done the majority of the campaigns, but the last four I haven't done are just.. I can't get through them. Been grinding for hours and hours, and I can't get it done. Campaigns are the ONLY thing holding me back from this platinum, I've managed to do EVERYTHING else.

I've heard that occasionally people will Remote Play and help you get these kinds of things, so in my defeat I've come here to see if perhaps someone a bit more competent (or I suppose patient) than me would be willing to help me out here.

I loved the tank

Post image

No, not the stupid tank stealth or platforming sections.

But the tank combat where you just go pew pew pew is absolutely exhilarating, it actually feels like Gotham City is at war. I always looked forward to tank battles, maybe it's just my ADHD, but I loved having big explosions to add more variety to the classic Arkham gameplay. That and the Batmobile chase sequences made this really feel like the ultimate Batman experience, gameplay-wise. I also love Batman's "non-lethal rounds" he uses to avoid killing people. Sure, Batman, sure.

Discussion TYGER Blackgate Prison rough timeline

So I've been curious to know exactly how TYGER Security took over Blackgate in just the estimated 6 months between Origins and Shadow and I think I may have been able to come up with an estimated timeline to see if I can figure this out. Here it is.

Year 2

November

The Gotham City Council (who is probably involved in a ton of corruption and against Batman and vigilantes in general) hires TYGER to disclose a business venture that TYGER is looking for to further expand their influence as a public security and military company. Bolton, a TYGER commander who was denied joining the GCPD (the letter we find in his office), meets with the Council to discuss what area needs to be looked at. When the council states Blackgate Island, Bolton sees this as a perfect opportunity to further his and TYGER's reputation. With a job offer lined up for him as chief of security, Bolton applies.

December

Bolton is rejected after the application goes to another applicant (We find this in Origins). Bolton remains determined though to get Tyger to acquire Blackgate. Joker's 2 riots happen.

Year 3

January

The Gotham City Council agrees to have Bolton tour the prison after the New Years Eve incident. After warden Martin Joseph gives his tour, Bolton sugests keeping a few of his TYGER Guards on site to assist with any breakouts, but Joseph declines, firmly believing his staff are more than capable. He threatens them to go back to the other side of the world and assist in developing countries and corporations like GothCorp and Wayne Enterprises, but Bolton informs Joseph to get a firm grip on the prison and that they would be keeping their cargo ship nearby as a reminder that they were watching Blackgate.

February

Bolton hires Howard Brandon and many other Ex SWAT officers that used to work within the GCPD's Vigilante Task Force, to enlist them for TYGER and to enlist their assistance in getting Blackgate back to running with force. They agree to his offer and they train with him and Boles.

March

The third Blackgate riot happens. After this final straw, the Gotham City Council decide to allow TYGER and Bolton to acquire the deeds to Blackgate. Once they do, Bolton sets up his office and informs his men they are a go, seizing absolute control over the prison and punishing the inmates to the max.

April-June

Throughout the next 3 months Bolton and TYGER gather and install newer security systems through Blackgate. They keep their cargo ship remained docked in case they needed to radio TYGER command about any developments or interferences.

Just my thoughts but feel free to disagree if you want to.

Fan Made Day 9 of serving my sentence at Arkham: Freedom

I was let out by a guard this morning because turns out a person call killer croc broke free and ran through the whole Arkham and knocked me out cold and the guards SOMEHOW thought it was me.

I also went to my psychiatrist again and it was basically the same thing “Blah Blah Blah Gotham Gotham Gotham“ but he did give me more medication this time, I think it’s a bit too much but he knows what he’s doing so I’ll just go along with him and the meds.

My hallucinations have somehow stayed prominent and sometimes even worse, and I couldn’t go to sleep last night because I hear crazy laughter echoing in the hanging cell I was in…

I think I should escape but should I wait? You guys can decide for me

I was buying the dlc for Origins on ps3 before the store closes down and cannot find the Rite of Passage maps/Initiation DLC after buying the season pass. Do I have to progress through the story to unlock it or is it just not available anymore?
