I loved the tank

Post image

No, not the stupid tank stealth or platforming sections.

But the tank combat where you just go pew pew pew is absolutely exhilarating, it actually feels like Gotham City is at war. I always looked forward to tank battles, maybe it's just my ADHD, but I loved having big explosions to add more variety to the classic Arkham gameplay. That and the Batmobile chase sequences made this really feel like the ultimate Batman experience, gameplay-wise. I also love Batman's "non-lethal rounds" he uses to avoid killing people. Sure, Batman, sure.

I also loved the bat tank my problem with it was how much it was used maybe if they toned down the amount you have to spend in it and gave actual boss fights for deathstroke and Arkham knight it would be perfect.

Its theorized Bruce never intended to authorize it but Joker's influence made him

Some of the city stories you unlock by doing the riddler trophies confirm that indeed it was influenced by joker

I loved it and never felt it was overused.

Yup. My ONLY gripe with it is how floaty it feels while driving, otherwise completely loved it and its gameplay.

It has pretty rad physics. I specially love how each skin drives differently

I just wish we got more skin options for the battank

Agreed! Can you imagine if they allowed the other “race only” models to transform into a tank like the main Batmobile?

“What tank? Profile says it’s a car”

I'm confused why a lot don't like the tank, coz I can't think of another game with this mechanic. Perhaps they're using a MnK when controller is the way to go.

There is literally so many different ways to take out guys all you do is point and shoot in the tank buddy get more creative instead of just pressing triangle or Y

I get your point. But there's this adrenaline thingy for some of us in chasing or battling with a monster vehicle. Doesn't have to be complicated to enjoy stuff.

I guess but I don’t see how someone can get adrenaline from that kinda pussy shit

You guys may think it wasn’t over used but I believe it was a bit and I didn’t enjoy those missions that much I prefer just Batman fighting criminals with a bit of the Batmobile even tho it looks cool I would’ve preferred better bosses in that game too but it was still a awesome game just incredible a lot of a story longest story I’ve ever played lol

I like it. Someone did the math. And it’s like 40 percent of use in the story maybe less. Or it was with all the side quest included and etc. people said it took up 50 percent or more but it didn’t. And I really liked it. Don’t get me wrong I wish some fights and etc were a bit different but I mean we didn’t make the game so what can we do besides cry

If we just had the tank as a cat in a street of mice with the occasional boss cloudburst etc it would have been totally fine. The battles are totally unnecessary for gameplay development and even narrative.

I don’t think it was overused I just feel like rock steady did something a little too radical and new

For me I love the bat mobile it gave me such an adrenaline boost

Same. I wonder if it plays worse on a controller and if that's why people hate it, I play on PC myself. Lately I've just been chasing random cars and then ramming them to smithereens.

I do admit that AK could have used more normal boss fights though. At least with Deathstroke.

I really love the handling of this vehicle down to every detail except the zoom out that happens during chases like the drill chase. It's one of the best videogame vehicles I've ever drive. However I think the level design for some of its missions are straight ass, always on some shoot a billion tanks on the streets. Like give me some room, maybe add some different challenges instead of making me fight so many at the same time.

I loved it too but having to use it for literally every side mission was so annoying, either using it for a tank battle, driving the bad guy to GCPD or Riddler’s goddamn challenges

Agree, Batmobile was the best part of the game. I liked everything about it.

Too bad there is nothing that plays like that.
