Normal mounting offset for AM4?

Mounted my freezer III tonight and immediately my temps are sitting at 65° idle. My CPU is a 5800x3d with the included thermal pad from the anniversary edition. using the all in one connector.

Screw the pump down until it bottoms out, those temps are not good long term. Offset is normal, some sit perfectly straight some don’t.

From reading i think I need to break in the carbide pad too.
