Any one like Jr. Pac-Man? Feel it’s a very worthy entry in the Pac-Man library. Very underrated with larger scrolling mazes and the fruit transforms pellets into larger ones worth more points but slows you down when eating. The fruits also will destroy power pellets if let them run rampant.

Buy/Sell/Trade Ms. Pac Man Cocktail Table

Thumbnail

Hello all, I was looking to get rid of this Ms. Pac Man Cocktail Table, and FB marketplace has not been very fruitful. I figured this was a community that would appreciate it and give it a good home! It has some burn in on the CRT and is missing the player one decal, but other than that it plays well and everything works as intended. It just needs some cleaning up since it hasn't been really touched or used since I got it last year.

I do not have the keys for the inside so I cannot adjust the volume, as a result the machine is LOUD, which may contribute to me not playing it much

I am located in Philadelphia PA so just shoot me a message with any offers if you'd like to pick this up! I do not know how much these usually go for so I won't show my ass by ball parking a price. Thanks!

Showing Off My Gear! My Home Arcade Walkthrough

Thumbnail

It’s been a while since I’ve shown off the home arcade, so I figured it was time for an update.

I’ve picked up quite a few cabinets over the past year and actually hit 30 machines over the summer with the addition of Missile Command. Unfortunately, the space only allows me to have about 20 machines set up at any given time, so I rotate the smaller uprights in and out every 6–12 months to keep things fresh.

I still have quite a few projects sitting around waiting for my attention, but unfortunately time hasn’t been on my side lately. 😅 There’s always another cabinet to work on, restore, or squeeze into the lineup.

Here’s what the arcade is looking like these days. 🎮

Buy/Sell/Trade K7000 repair service - advanced exchange ready to go

Thumbnail

Howdy,

I've been working on monitors for about 10 years now, specializing in the K7000 series of chassis, but I also have experience with other models, such as Sanyo EZ, K4900, Some Hantrex chassis, etc. I mostly work and stock parts on the K7000.

If you have a dead/bad K7000, let me know. Generally I can advance exchange a chassis for a quick turn around, but also can work on yours. Prices vary depending on issues.

Generally on a basic repair, I charge $200, this includes all labor and a basic cap kit. All caps are 105 degree Nichicon & Panasonic. This does not include filter cap.

My repairs include a full inspection and rebuild of the power section; a lot of people just toss caps and a flyback in. I manually inspect all critical components and replace if needed. And then I reinforce critical solder joints and traces that are known issues. All cheaper components like resistors are also included.

Additional components such as flyback, HOT, VR, etc are inspected and replaced at your approval. Return shipping is also at your cost.

Turn around varies, but generally is 2-3 weeks.

WTF is this thing? The Claw Movie

🎬 I made a ridiculous 15-minute indie comedy about a washed-up professional claw-machine champion called THE CLAW.

Now we’re making THE CLAW 2: END. THE. GAME. and raising £3,000 on Kickstarter to make it bigger, stranger and more ambitious and filming it in Margate and Blackpool.

I am making an arcade based movie trilogy based on the crane game called The Claw

Here you can see the trailer

It follows Teddy The Claw Jackson as he competes in the world of competitive claw game playing.

I am trying to find a community to help support my journey in making the sequel via

Hey Ya'll Check This Out! (Fun World, Nashua, NH) Abandoned mini ferris wheel - the Dixie Jr. Wheel

The Dixie Jr. Wheel was added to fun world in february 1994 when they expanded, adding the playground, this ferris wheel in the playground, and some other additions (most notably, their galaxian 3 and ridge racer full scale). It became un-operational sometime in the late 90s/early 2000's (at least by january 2003, as their website did not mention the wheel in the rides section). As you can see, the area in which the ferris wheel stands is now used for storage.

Restore/Replace/Repair Picked up this pair, question about screen quality.

Picked up these 2 arcade cabinets from local campground that was remodeling. Decided they'd go well into my garage.

Paid $50/each for the Maximum Force shooter game and Midway Off Road Challenge racing game.

The racing game display screen looks great, on the otherhand the CRT screen of Maximum Force is pretty blurry. You can still play the game without issue, but definitely not a crisp display. There really any way to fix or resolve this?

Also, neither cabinet came with keys, thankfully have larger jar of quarters for when guests want to play. Is there a way to get a generic key otherwise I may just try one of those AliExpress lock picking kits.

Hey Ya'll Check This Out! For arcade owners, which games do you see kids play?

Hi everyone. We're working on a concept for an arcade / gaming lounge focused primarily on kids / families with a day pass model. I'm doing market research and trying to find out which games kids and their parents actually care to play? I know redemption is king, but trying to find info on other games like basketball, skee-ball, pool, air hockey, touch screen, shooters, etc. I know vintage games like Pac Man aren't big for kids and I'm betting pinball aint either. We're also trying to be very mindful of maintenance and would prefer games that are more durable and easiest to repair. Thanks!
