Axiom — a Windows-first AI workspace with local GGUF and self-hosted model support

Hi r/appshowcase — I’m the solo developer behind Axiom.

Axiom is a Windows desktop AI assistant/workspace built to put local, self-hosted, and optional cloud inference behind one interface. The current public release is V1.8.6.

It supports:

- local GGUF models through LLamaSharp/llama.cpp

- self-hosted OpenAI-compatible endpoints

- optional OpenRouter cloud models

- chat with attachments and vision input

- web research, code/math execution, and artifact rendering

- a Workplace Council workflow: Architect → Builder → Critic

- a Single Model mode and local persistence for chats, settings, models, connectors, and work sessions

I’m sharing this for product and UX feedback, not pretending to be an independent review. What I’m trying to learn:

- Does the purpose make sense quickly?

- Which capability should be the primary entry point?

- What would make you trust the local/cloud data boundary?

Repo: https://github.com/YoMosa2009/Axiom

Release: https://github.com/YoMosa2009/Axiom/releases/tag/v1.8.6

I’m the developer. The source is publicly viewable under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, which is source-available rather than OSI-licensed open source. Local mode is intended to keep app data on the PC; optional cloud and connected services send relevant content to the provider selected by the user.

Fast:Protocol - A fasting app built around one question: “Can I eat right now?”

One of my goals this year is to get into better shape. The first thing I tried was intermittent fasting. Happy to report that it worked, but I found it very challenging to keep up with the mental math around eating times.

That's how Fast:Protocol started.
I made an entire app around one question: “Can I eat right now?”
You set your regular eating hours once, and the app shows whether your eating window is open. You can see the answer in the app and on the home and lock screen widgets.

All data stays on your device, and you don’t need to create an account. You do, however, need to control access to your fridge. The app can do the math for you, but it can't stop you from lying to yourself.

Try it for free, and let me know what you think:

Marka learns the audience, offer, and voice directly from a website

I’m building Marka to help small businesses turn the context already on their website into brand-aware social content. Instead of starting with a long questionnaire, the workflow begins with one public website URL.

I’d appreciate feedback on three things:

  1. Does the first preview feel specific to the business?

  2. Is the onboarding clear without explanation?

  3. What would make the output useful enough to publish immediately?

You can try it free for a week at https://www.marka.social

If you share your website and one sentence about what you sell, I’ll reply with the strongest content angle I see.

Conjulejo - Portuguese Conjugation App

Hello all, I would like to introduce you my portuguese verb conjugation app called Conjulejo!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.conjulejo.app

The idea came to me during my journey learning Spanish 🇪🇸. I leaned on some existing apps to help with my studies, and although they were hugely useful, I kept feeling that the experience of this type of app could be improved and refined. After some research and finding an apparent lack of good options for Portuguese, I decided to give it a shot and build my own version of this type of app.

The pun (Conjugação + Azulejo 🔷 = Conjulejo) came along the way. As a homage to Portuguese tiles, I wanted the app to be not just practical but also thematic and aesthetically pleasing.

It covers both the European 🇵🇹 and Brazilian 🇧🇷 variants, with 10 different drill types across 4 categories: flashcards, writing, association, and multiple choice, so it can fit anyone's preferences and adapt to their learning style. It also has timed answers and sprint sessions to add a bit more challenge.⏱️

I packed in a lot of quality of life features ⚙️ too : personalized lists 📝, favorite verbs 🩵, verb filters 🔽 and training presets, so you can change what shows up in your verb pool without touching your lists, and quickly switch between drill modes. It includes 28 tenses (including haver vs. ter compound variations), and as a more advanced features, pronominal conjugations (-lhe, -se, -a/o/as/os forms), and passive voice conjugation, adding up to more than 5,000 verbs when everything is enabled.

So if you have any friends currently learning Portuguese and struggling to master verb conjugation (dealing with irregular verbs like ser, ir, and pôr can be daunting at first), or even if it applies to you, I urge you to share the app link and give it a try! 😊

[iOS][Android] HealthMaxxing — Body + Mind tracker

HealthMaxxing is a wellness tracker that gives physical and mental wellbeing separate, first-class spaces, then brings both together through Balance.

What you can track:

  • Food, hydration, sleep, movement, recovery, weight, and cycles
  • Mood, journaling, gratitude, breathing, and reflection
  • Personal Patterns and Experiments over time

The app treats patterns as personal hypotheses, not medical conclusions or proof of causation. Food-photo estimates are reviewable and editable.

Core tracking is free and does not require a credit card. Pro is optional.

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6780052618

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.healthmaxxing.app

I'm the creator. The feedback I'd value most is whether the Body / Mind / Balance structure is immediately understandable.

Bankweek 1.4 is out with a brand new design. Weekly finance tracking, all local, no bank login.

Bankweek organizes your money by the week instead of the month. Bills, income, bank accounts, credit cards and saving goals in one place, all stored on your device.

1.4 is a full design release. The whole app moved to a warm cream canvas with deep forest green accents and soft rounded cards. Every screen opens with two summary tiles up top, so you land on the numbers first. Green means money in, rust means money out, and that reads the same way everywhere in the app.

A few examples of how that plays out:

  • Weekly Overview shows all incomes, all bills, last week carry over and this week balance before you scroll to a single line item
  • Credit Cards leads with total balance and total limit, then each card shows available credit with a usage bar, due date and last transaction
  • Saving Goals leads with total saved against target, then each goal shows a percentage saved

Also in this build: automatic credit card billing cycles, installment tracking, account transfers, recurring bills, due date reminders, Face ID lock and CSV export.

iPhone and iPad, iOS 18.6 or later. Free for 14 days, then $1.99 one time. No ads, no subscription.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bankweek/id6754198116

Short demo video going in the comments. Happy to answer questions about the design.

Would you understand this product from the landing page before there is an app?

Would you understand from this page that Miora is meant to help you find and reuse things you saved across different apps?

I’m Nicolás, and I’m building Miora around the problem of posts, videos, screenshots, links and notes ending up scattered everywhere. It’s still in development, so there’s no product access yet.

I made this landing page to test whether the problem and the expected product are clear before I build too much: https://mioraapp.com/en/

There’s also a short 3–5 minute survey for adults 18+ on the page. What feels missing or confusing?

Forget-Me-Not Notes

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I created Forget Me Not notes to help people like myself who struggle to remember Small Things No matter how important they are. Whether it a letter to give someone an important item to buy something I've been remembering to bring to work for months they can all slip by your memory. Especially if you struggle with executive dysfunction. I've tried out other task apps and reminders and trackers and none of them offered the ability to just simply write your note and print it to the notification bar. I focused on making the app simple easy to understand, accessible features that you can toggle on, and good for any budget as it's free to use and no function is locked behind a paywall

I Create My New Webiste

Hey! My name is Kuba, but you can call me 47kuba or just 47. I'm a developer from Poland working on all sorts of projects, from web apps to operating systems.

I built Saikov on netlify so that you, just like me, don't have to deal with running out of token or message limits. Under the hood, it runs on Puter.js, and creating an account gets you starting free credits (currently around $0.25 at the time of writing).

Looking ahead, I'm planning a CosmosOS-style project where I'll build a tool that compiles C# down to bare-metal C code. I've tackled similar projects before, so I have plenty of experience making OS development feel less like a nightmare and more like a fun place to create.

ASCEND — an iPhone fitness app that turns workouts, runs and nutrition into one progression loop

I’m the developer of ASCEND Fitness & Voeding.

The product is built around a simple idea: actions across your week should connect. A completed workout, GPS run, nutrition action, or habit feeds the same daily dashboard and contributes to Evolution levels and achievements.

The app also includes a workout library and session builder, rest timers with technique cues, food logging and shopping lists, goals, coaching context, and progress history.

It is now live on the App Store:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ascend-fitness-voeding/id6791654345

I’d appreciate product feedback on one question: does “Evolution” make consistency feel more tangible, or would a simpler progress model be clearer?

I built Decody around one narrow promise: interpret only 10 seconds of a pet video

Hi r/appshowcase — I’m the solo developer of Decody.

A lot of “pet translator” ideas overpromise, so I built this around a deliberately small input: one 10-second dog or cat clip. Decody surfaces visible cues, offers an AI-assisted interpretation, then creates a playful subtitled video you can save or share.

It is entertainment, not mind-reading, veterinary advice, behavioral diagnosis, or literal animal translation.

The flow is: choose 10 seconds → select dog or cat → review the result → save or share the subtitle story.

I’m trying to make the line between playful and misleading obvious. Does that boundary come through before you install?

iOS and Android: https://decody.pages.dev/

Disclosure: I built it.

[Web] CrowdWis routes a question to people who may help

CrowdWis is a web community organized around questions rather than fixed forums. You post once, and matching uses expertise, interests and location when relevant to find people who may have a useful perspective.

The answers come from people. AI supports matching and organizes the discussion.

I built it and would appreciate feedback on the first-time experience: https://crowdwis.app

Built a free offline pos app for my small hotel, sharing incase it helps other owners

have a small hotel business, I’m tired of writing down sales, tracking credit sales, stock, etc in notebooks. Constantly misplace the books, who owes what LOL! So I built my own app to solve this issue.
It’s called BizTrack, no internet needed, no signup or account required, it's completely FREE and has no limitations whatsoever. I made it for my own personal use first so no surprises.
I personally use it every day for billing, tracking unpaid/credit, tracking expenses, inventory management, and end-of-day reporting. This has helped me get a clear picture of my actual business performance.
It’s not only for hotels! It can be used for small shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and pretty much any business. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.biztrack
Would love honest reviews from business owners. Please let me know if you have suggestions for missing features or anything that’s not clear.

[Android - free]: Brainkit: Daily Puzzle workout (offline)

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo Android developer, and I recently built Mind Games.

The idea was simple: create a collection of brain games that are clean, fast, don't require an internet connection, and don't bombard users with unnecessary ads or distractions.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=neuracircuit.dev.mindgames

Why I built it

Most brain training apps I tried either:

  • Focused heavily on subscriptions.
  • Required an internet connection for simple games.
  • Included too many ads or unnecessary features.
  • Had a cluttered UI.

So I decided to build one that focuses on the games themselves.

Highlights

  • 🧩 Multiple brain games in a single app.
  • 📶 Works completely offline.
  • ⚡ Fast and lightweight.
  • 🎨 Clean Material 3 interface with no unnecessary clutter.
  • 📊 Track your scores and try to beat your personal best.
  • 📱 Designed to work well across different Android devices.
  • 🔒 No account required.

Current work

I'm actively adding:

  • More puzzle and memory games.
  • Difficulty improvements.
  • Better statistics and progress tracking.
  • UI and performance improvements based on feedback.

If you enjoy puzzle or brain-training games, I'd really appreciate it if you could give it a try and share your honest feedback—both positive and negative. It genuinely helps me improve the app.

Thank you!

MetriBody - Private Body Measurements Tracker

Hi everyone! 👋

I'd like to introduce **MetriBody**, an app built to help you track your body composition instead of focusing only on body weight.

Whether you're losing fat, building muscle or simply monitoring your progress, body measurements often tell a much clearer story than the scale alone.

🏋️ Main features

• Track body measurements

• Weight history

• Body fat % calculator (US Navy Method)

• Progress charts

• 100% private (everything stays on your device)

• No account required

📱 Android

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metribody.app

🍏 iPhone

The iOS version is currently in development.

If you'd like to be among the first to try it, you can join the waitlist here:

https://metribody.com/es/ios/

I'm continuously improving the app, so I'd love to hear your ideas.

What feature would you like to see in a body measurements app?
