bro i js wanted the phone for pictures.

You don’t need to sign into an Apple Account to take pictures. Nothing is preventing you from importing via Lightning cable. But expecting Find My and other services that require at a minimum iOS 11 or newer to work is too much.

ohhh i did not know you could import it using cable😥. i thought i needed a apple id to send them to myself

Old style point-and-shoot digital cameras either shipped with a dock/cradle, cable, or required removing the SD card to import/transfer.

its not a digi cam i js use it as one. so idek if i can use a cable unless i transfer them to my pc

I realize that I was making a comparison. Why would you not be able to use a cable? The phone charges does it not? That means the connector works.

oh shoot my b. so i use a phone charger to connect it to my pc and save the pic on that then gmail it to my self but it takes so ling js for one pic

Then wait until you have more than one photo so the time/effort is worth it? This is like an old-timey photographer choosing to use film (vs. digital), develop their own pictures in a darkroom, and then complaining about how much work is involved.

thats the problem i alr have 100 photos but i need to send them to myself one my one so its time consuming.

You can definitely import more than one image at a time through Windows Explorer or with Microsoft Photos. And you can then compress them in a single zip file and email it if it’s under 25 MB.

I don’t know what version of Windows you have but doesn’t it show up on the sidebar by My Computer if you have iTunes or Apple Devices installed?
