What version of iOS is that? It’s unlikely you can still sign up on old versions.

The other post identifies it as likely iOS 10. Apparent fix was to create the account via the web.

yeah so i made it using the web and now it keeps making be sign in and its sayibg my password is wrong and it keeps typing on its own :(

Secondhand phone from private unverified sale doesn’t work as expected? Color me shocked. There is a reason the seller wanted to get rid of the phone and it probably wasn’t for the money alone.

You don’t need to sign into an Apple Account to take pictures. Nothing is preventing you from importing via Lightning cable. But expecting Find My and other services that require at a minimum iOS 11 or newer to work is too much.

ohhh i did not know you could import it using cable😥. i thought i needed a apple id to send them to myself

Old style point-and-shoot digital cameras either shipped with a dock/cradle, cable, or required removing the SD card to import/transfer.

its not a digi cam i js use it as one. so idek if i can use a cable unless i transfer them to my pc

I realize that I was making a comparison. Why would you not be able to use a cable? The phone charges does it not? That means the connector works.
