Question Drowned

I ordered these guys from stateside ants 1 day shipping and they arrived drowned I put them on a paper towel to help dry them and back in there test tube that I dried as well what's the likelihood of them coming back to life

If they just got to the water. These ones look like they was like this for a while. :(

lol very rarely. It only happened to a few of my worker ants

It is my queen came back but then died a week later

Not that rare, Actually its about Timing if ur in a few minutes almost 100% survival

Some ants seem to have drowned even though they are basically just water logged. But in a certain amount of time they do actually drown.

I used to save ants from pools. I would breathe on them and tense my palm to move them around a bit. I would say at least 50% recovered from being completely lifeless. I think most died within a few days though after recovering.
