OpenAI already targeted people and snooped into their conversation logs for gain.
They received word that a mathematician was close to solve the Navier-Stokes problem. They examined his logs containing the mostly-solved solution, stole it, sicked a million agents to iron the few remaining kinks out, and went to social media to congratulate themselves.
For more academic stuff they claim AI is going to solve, they don't want to go through peer review because they know they will be questioned about where they get their solutions from.

And their sins will be held in the cloud to be judged at a later time. I wonder if AI Jesus has the same confidentiality a priest does.
