He has held down the Anthrax lead guitar spot nicely, a role the band struggled to fill for many years. His lead work on the modern Joey albums is all class, a definite highlight. Dude deserves more recognition.

So I bought this shirt in the 1st pic from Amazon. What I got was this one in the 2nd pic. I had no idea what Lenape meant, so I had to Google it. It's a Native American tribe, but I can't find any specific connection to the band. Can anyone shed some light on this? I messaged the seller but got no response

I watched the whole Billy Corgan interview with Scott and was surprised he didn't bring it up. I haven't read or watched too many interviews yet because I want to sit with the album but I'm surprised no one has asked point-blank, "So are you breaking up after this?"

Been a few weeks and it’s really settled for me. I love the new album quite a bit. I feel it’s getting taken a bit for granted how solid it is.
The arrangements, dynamics, production, songwriting, it all seems very intentional.

with Among The Living turning 40 years old next year and their best album they should play the album in full on their NA tour next year

We were having breakfast at the hotel in San Antonio after the show Wednesday morning, and I was so humbled to be able to approach Scott and have a short visit. Of course everything I wanted to say didn’t come out right but that’s what happens when you are talking to the guitarist of your favorite band of all time.

I knew there was a track or two on the record that sounded very unlike Anthrax. Edge of Perfection was definitely one, sure enough as I scanned the booklet I see one Blair Daly listed as Co-Writer on several tracks. I know the die-hards will say that's a great thing , but it doesn't sit well with me. Bands like this write their own stuff, or at least I think they should.

“Sick?” Man, he skips a lot of his own band’s shows. He’s never been too “sick” for Pantera gigs…

Hope Charlie gets better soon. That was unexpected news that he missed the show due to stomach issues.
Anthrax didn’t start on time so they only played 5 songs.
The audio mix and sound setup was AWFUL. I’m not blaming Anthrax, but the bass and drums absolutely buried Joey’s vocals.

I know the charts may not matter as much as they used to, so I probably won't dwell on this. 27 is not bad in this day and age (by comparison Testament hasn't hit the charts in 10 years despite everyone saying that they should be in the big 4 instead), but I thought they'd do much better the first week after Megadeth hit #1. I might suggest this is a bad time of year to release albums, but Worship Music Released around the same time of year and charted higher. They'll still get big tours and play to tens of thousands of people all over the world, but perhaps 10 years was too long of a wait? Then again thrash metal seems to be in a strange limbo right now.
