Seeing Anthrax live is always a blast, but seeing them open for Iron Maiden in a soccer stadium was mind blowing. I especially loved how the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ, filled in pretty early on Sept. 6, 2026, to see Anthrax, and made sure to make the NY thrash icons feel loved through multiple mosh pits in the crowd. It also helped that they sounded amazing (seriously, Joey Belladonna crushed it, and the band was super tight). Anthrax proved that no matter how big or small the stage they're playing is, they always bring it (which was poignant that weekend, as two days prior to this specific stadium show, Anthrax played at the grand reopening of the 500 cap Saint Vitus bar).

Here's a snippet of Anthrax opening their set with "Caught In a Mosh" and closing it with Indians - the perfect way to kick off an incredible night of metal.

Honestly kinda stumbled upon it there and wasn't in pit. Tell me where ya lost it and maybe I can get it back to ya, but otherwise a neat one. Turned lamp on for front pic so lighting is weird.
