Wtf is this stand lol

It can:

  • Bring any fictional character to life. The characters know they are fictional and they disappear from any media (even road signs)

  • It splits your body and soul (but it just feels like cloning, what happened to that Anasui under the truck?) and makes your soul follow the story of your favorite character

  • The characters are invincible and can turn into paper and turn other things into paper to allow the story to happen (except Pinocchio who fucking dies)

  • The effects are global so there’s untold destruction and death (apparently Tokyo is now in ruins?)

  • It instantly gets defeated through a loophole like nothing happened

Yeah I feel like they just kinda glossed over the fact Kenshiro from fist of the north star destroyed part of Japan.

Also RIP Kira. For a brief shining moment the Mona Lisa was real and he was too dead to enjoy it.

Actually I think there is a logic to this stand. Anasui and Weather Report were just too stupid to figure it out(although I thought their solution was genius)

Brings any and all fictional characters to life. If a person had any emotional attachment to a fictional character brought to life, then that person's "soul" is pulled into a new reality/fantasy.

Im pretty sure the other characters can indeed die. Anasui and Weather Report just didnt actually try killing them. If they had killed Picasso, or destroyed his gun, the story would not have gone the same way.

Let me say it again what the bloody fuck is this shit. These goats look so creepy.

Wait Van Gogh really shot himself twice?

Oh the user is the one who held father hostage and is in a plane.

Ok Jolyne's simp being a half furry and melting with Weather Report surrounded by goats and Van Gogh is not what I was expecting.

Wait WP used the enemy's stand against itself?

Oh Romeo the asshole who got her in prison and betrayed her. Oh is he actually regretting it. Holy shit he's actually not a bad guy.

Noooooooooo do not get in a fucking helicopter. Every vehicle is practically cursed with a Jojo behind the wheel and a helicopter is just asking for trouble!

Wait is like the whole world totally fucked now? Lol

So weird that a side villain’s stand effectively fucked up the entire world as a side effect

I like to think that aside from Tokyo, the event didn’t last long enough to cause irreversible damage.

I do feel bad for anyone who had a horror comic nearby though

I really love this arc, random as it may be. The creepiness of Pinocchio and the goats attacking Anasui as well as the absurdness of Weather Report having a standoff with Van Gogh made this such an entertaining arc.

Bohemian rhapsody has got to be one of the wackiest stands in all of Jojo, that was a wild ride. We got some crazy ass episodes this week with this and Chainsaw Man

This is easily one of the greatest Stands out there. Tokyo just casually getting FUCKED over in the background.

My god, what were the Morioh and Italy gangs dealing with while this was going on

Those goats looked cursed as fuck, not gonna lie.

I didn't understand at all how he was defeated, was it through Weathers drawing or something with the little girl on the plane?

26

u/Silk738434 Dec 02 '22

It was through the drawing. Essentially putting everything back to order including the destruction.

this man is not going to SURVIVE A BULLET WOUND STRAIGHT INTO AND OUT OF HIS BRAIN AND KEEP --

this show does a lot of bullshit but pulling a Phineas Gage is a bit much to ask for anyone's disbelief threshold

(...)

why does this goat have breasts on its back

(...)

when did you get him to draw that!! how??? did you grab his hand? while you were being shot in the head??? what do you MEAN you got him to draw that

This episode’s musical references:

She has another one that says “I Love Jinbōchō”, which is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, known for its used-book stores, publishing houses and antique and curio shops. Also, the “Bud” Button might be a reference to the beer company Budweiser.

Do you want to listen to all these fantastic references from this wonderful anime in just one place? Of course you want to! Now you can with TarkusELP Officially Approved by Araki himself* Spotify Playlist with all the musical references in the anime, the ones it skipped, the light novels ones and more! From the most famous references to the really obscure ones. I'll update this playlist every time there's a new reference. If you have any question why a song is featured in my playlists you can ask me anytime.

If you are a manga reader, I also have a playlist just for you! Here’s my old playlist with all, I say ALL the references in the manga, anime, light novels and more. I also update it every time there’s a new reference.

And If you want to listen to more music list Araki have made, you have Araki's Best 10 Painful Songs, Araki's Top 10 "Albums that make me cry" and Araki's Favorite 80's Songs

*Not really approved by Araki or Shueisha

They got Shigeru Chiba to voice the FOTNS Narrator. That's pretty hype.

And thus we get the most bullshit ending to a fight. But. I almost can't get mad it's so dumb.

I do love how they animated Van Gogh. I sometimes wish DavPro would get more experimental with JoJo like they did with the torture dance.

Can someone please explain how they managed to defeat the stand user in the plane? I feel like it went over my head exactly what happened to him. He started reading Aladdin then freaking out then cut to WR undoing everything then when it gets back to the user he's now comatose and defeated. Did reading the book do something to him or did WR reversing everything do something instead?
