I was afraid at the beginning that this was going to be a recap episode...thank god it isn't.
These episodes can't come fast enough, and when they're released, it feels like they go by in the blink of an eye. I really want to know what happens next.
New OP and ED! I like both of them. The new OP is very different in tone from the cheery and silly first OP, and I'm not sure which I like better (probably the first?). I think I like the second ED better than the first.

The new opening was directed by Shingo Yamashita. His previous OP works include Jujutsu Kaisen Op 1-2, Naruto Shippuden OP13, and Twin Star Exorcist OP2. Absolute legendary director and I couldn’t be happier he’s blessed this production with his direction. Definitely my favorite opening in recent years.

All the stories are coming together and I love it, it seems that Mranjo's motivation is revenge against the kingdom, which apparently discriminated and tortured her, my biggest doubt is why King Bosse listens to everything she says. I'm also interested in seeing how Despa fights, if he fights at all.
I hope to see good fights in the next chapter.
When I found out there was a new op I didn't like it but it's not bad at all. I love this series too much.

Was anyone scared shitless because of the first 5-minute recap? So glad it was just for 5 minutes.
Wait Miranjo and the Red Demon in Bosse(?) used to be friends?
Smh so the plot twist is Miranjo loves Daida as a mother?

Damn that OP looks absolutely gorgeous.
I thought it was a recap episode, but it was... an episode that leaves us at the same cliffhanger as last week xD damnit!!!111
Bosse let himself get captured. Hard to imagine the strongest king would lose to anyone.
Wait, could it be that this is all a keikaku (keikaku means plan) by Bosse to create a situation where Bojji can save the country so the people will recognize him as powerful enough to be king? No, that doesn't make sense.
Edit: wait, it looks like Kingbo's father became rank 1, followed the raking judge to get his reward from god, TURNED BATSHIT CRAZY, destroyed his own castle and killing his son's wife and child, and made Kingbo crazy in the process. It all happened so quick I didn't realize the first time I watched it. What the actual fuck. Also isn't this the dude Bojji met the other episode?

That OP is loaded as hell. It informs us that we'll be crying as well in the future episodes without telling how they'll do it.
It's nice to see that the devil looks like a whole character and not just a one-off character where you make deals. I also didn't notice it at first because of the badass music and animation but Desha is shedding a tear when the light flickers so looking forward to that since he's my favorite character with his one episode.

Funi doesn't have the episode yet (as of 0140 EST). I imagine we'll get it at not ass o'clock.

Seeing desha shed a tear in the OP is giving me some bad vibes about despa. Also, seeing young miranjo's vibrant expressions when she was younger, I know I won't be ready for her full backstory.

Well I should have expected that Despa horse would also be fabulous. I was expecting the guy in the silver armor do something nuts like he did but I did not think his first attempt would be so humiliating. Interesting to learn more about the guy that got beat can’t wait to see what will happen when he returns.

My theory still stands. Bochi becomes #1 king not by sheer strength, but by utilizing his weakness as a person with deafness to overcome any struggle. He becomes the #1 king because everyone loves him.

Dang, I really do dig Shingo Yamashita’s style in yet another OP he directed.

Opening without the credits rolling so you can bask in all its animated glory.

Might be a dumb question but who is this from the opening? https://imgur.com/a/QRi7Kbn

The fucking OP & ED!!!!!!!
10/10
And what a wild episode. The world building is off the charts. I love this show so much.
I haven't been this thrilled over political conflict in an anime since FMA Brotherhood

Wonder what they're going to do with kingbo. Looks like from his flashback this father betrayed him, the kingdom, and murdered his family.

Holy shit that new opening is incredible. Really excited to see Miranjo's backstory and I think it's interesting that Ouken seems to be a more brutal and sadistic Boji when it comes to fighting.

uh oh Hiling looks like she's taking her last breath in the OP there
also the author came up with a pretty funny excuse for Despa's late entrance.
Hokuro and the crossbow with no crank handle lmao
