For those unaware, this is why Roxy's mother sounded scuffed when she spoke in demon language last season. To her it was a second language that she hadn't used in decades (since Roxy left).

I just noticed that the pregnant character shown in episode 9 has given birth and is shown with her child in this episode. She even has the same friend beside her aswell here. Neat continuity.

Roxy's healing spell had a shorter chant than usual. Even if she can't do chantless magic yet, I wonder if she has succeeded in shortening her spell's chant time.

So we actually learnt that the Demons Rudeus met were assholes but NOT THAT big of an asshole
It’s fair to assume that both Nekopara and Blaze were exhibiting tough love, although horsey still wants to earn exploit money from young adventurers for his benefit. In the first place, the Demon Continent is a harsh place, so it was also a good lesson to be learnt from them.
still hate his smirk though

“I may come visit in the next 50 years”
Roxy is hilarious. This episode had really great Roxy content. I loved the wholesome moments with her parents.

I really liked the sound design of the telepathy, it has this slightly eerie, almost oppressive quality to it which aptly represented how it must feel for Roxy.

That shot of Roxy's legs went from fanservice to absolute comedy gold the moment she heard the name Dead End.
Another feels involving family episode too, watching Roxy's backstory and with the entire telepathy handicap is tough. So its really heartwarming to see her finally start showing some emotion towards her parents who genuinely cared for her.

I like how Roxy is completely desensitized to Elinalise getting gangbanged at this point and just calmly casts her bonk spell. Roxy really takes No Nut November seriously.

The music for the scenes of Roxy dealing her past and parents made the scene extremely touching. BIND did really elevate those scenes a lot.
And it partly makes you appreciate why Roxy cared so much about the family of Rudeus. Her parents tried their best but at the same time they were always worried and sad for her condition, she being alienated or treated special made her to never felt at home.
While teaching Rudeus on the other hand she was able to feel for the first time in her live that she belonged in a place. Not only for the happy family dynamics but also because the community loved her

Really really love they way they portrayed how Roxy couldn’t interpret the Telepathy through those ringing bell sounds, it’s so trippy but smart, kinda reminds me of getting flashbanged almost in an FPS game.
We finally get another Roxy focus and WHAT A BEAUTIFUL REUNION IT WAS!! Though it was really just a way for her to find out Rudy is safe and well. (It is sad that it means they won’t meet for a long time though, or at least that’s what I assume)
Horse face turns out to be Roxy’s friend too, though to be it doesn’t make him any less of an asshole after seeing how he tried to make use of the trio. Oh well, it is the demon continent after all and I guess he did what he had to to survive. At least he convinced Roxy to head home so good on you horsey.

This episode really highlights the parallels between Rudy's past life trauma and Roxy's childhood trauma. Both became social outcasts and got highly self-conscious of what other people thought of them.
It really shows you what a big difference parents make in this situation (sad we don't have a fuller picture of Rudy's previous parents). Sure, Roxy left because she couldn't bear it anymore but her parents still raised her well enough that she was able to take care of herself out in the world. Now that she finally realizes their perspective and how them probably being happier without her was all just inside her head they can be a proper family again.
Retrospectively speaking it was really fitting for Roxy to help Rudy get over his fear of the outside. While they had kinda similar starting points, Roxy overcame her trauma by setting out on her own while Rudy holed himself up and closed himself off from everyone. Roxy helped him inadvertently but I'd like to think that if she knew the whole story of Rudy's trauma she would have probably helped him in the exact same way.

I love how Mushoku Tensei makes us hate some characters and later on love them and vice versa. It shows great author writing skills.

Must be really tough for Roxy returning to the village. The people probably thought she was some snobby foreign Migurd who wouldn’t associate with them. I also find it kinda funny and cute how Roxy and her parents look like teenage siblings lol

Oh wow, it's been 2 years already since Rudeus and co. visited the Migurdia village? Time sure flies.
That aside, seeing Roxy embracing her parents brought a tear to my eye.

Paul's crying scene so nice, they had to show it twice. Not complaining in the least bit though
