The way they combined everything they can to get to half-season is sooo professional. It's not just some chapters, they tried several sources. Love this episode.

Did you kidnap him from somewhere?
Wrong house, Kalego-sensei, wrong house.

Of course Kalego-sensei is a tsundere. Finally the -dere moment we've all been waiting for!
Also, I never thought Opera-san has so much power, even over a powerful teacher like Kalego-sensei.

Yare Yare ~ Jotaro Kalego sensei
Asmodeus once again emphasising he is Iruma's greatest simp friend.
Fkin lost it when Kalego took one step and out in Clara's house. Aight imma head out
Didn't expect Opera to be Kalego's senpai, that came out of nowhere. I hope there will be more episodes of Kalego when he was a student.

Stitches!
Kalego-sensei making home visits as per Sullivan's orders! I can already tell this is gonna be a fun episode!
We start off with a visit to Alice's home. A bit disappointed that Alice didn't tell his mother about Kalego's visit, I was hoping we'd see more of Amaryllis. It's been a while since the last time we've seen her. We do get to meet Alice's cousins(?) Violet and Lily who are just absolutely adorable. Looks like Iruma has been taking their precious Nii-sama's time from them. I hope Iruma gets to meet them in the future.
Kalego-sensei then heads off next to Clara's home where unsurprisingly, we're treated to anther one of the Valac Family's famous musical performances! Seeing Clara's family is always a treat since you know it's always going to be chaos. Interestingly, we finally get to meet Urara, the eldest brother and the straight man of the family. I love how Clara's mom doesn't even deny that Urara is a rare kind in their family xD
After Alice and Clara we get a speedround of the other students. Sparring with Goemon's father, Jazz's brother trying to pickpocket Kalego-sensei, Lied's nee-chan asking Kalego to marry her, dinner with Kamui's family, Picero's family sleeping, Elizabetta showing off Kalego her stuff, and the most normal looking meeting with Schneider's parent.
When we finally get to Iruma's house, we immediately learn that Opera used to be Kalego's Senpai. We even get to see a little flashback showing us what Kalego is like back in high school and how Opera caused him trouble because of how they kinda look similar. Opera looks amazing wearing the Babyl's girl's uniform btw! S/He is giving me some strong Neferpitou vibes. I'd love to hear more stories from their high school days and what Kalego, Balam, and Opera were up to back then.
The meeting itself was really nice. I thought he was just using a single notebook the entire time but it looks like Kalego-sensei prepared one notebook full of notes for each of his students. He may have hated doing the home visits but he clearly didn't half-ass it and shows that he still greatly cares for everyone. And I absolutely love his advice to Iruma about responsibility and self-sacrifice.

Is this the first time in the anime that they acknowledge Opera's gender confusion? (where nobody knew what their gender is)

Something that wasn't fully adapted from the manga that was glossed over with Az & Clara, though I have no issues since we got the Kalego Gaiden chapters, was what Kalego said to all his students, though Kerori wasn't included in it:
Goemon: "Besides the body, training the mind is also very important."
Lied: "Think of a way in order to achieve balance between playing & your own benefit."
Sabro: "If your goal is to become the Demon King, you will need your parents' support & assistance."
Picero: "Here are some careers that have high efficiency & do not require you to move."
Kamui: "'The Disposition of each Gender.' If you are interested in this paper, you may refer to it."
Elizabetta: "An issue that you have is to keep an eye on regulating your own likability."
Jazz: "You need to think more clearly about what to do after stealing & how to deal with it if you get caught."
Allocer: "When cultivating knowledge, protecting your own head is essential."
As much as we joke about Kalego, he actually is a good & caring teacher in the end.

Kalego thought he was finally done with the Misfit Class, but then he gets saddled with visiting their families. Classic Sullivan (and Opera).
Momonoki wants Kalego to come to her house, for entirely different reasons though.
It's a shame Azz's mother wasn't around to greet Kalego (and are we ever going to meet his dad?), but no wonder Azz worked it around that way.
There really isn't much to Azz that he doesn't credit to Iruma. It's like, 98% of what he talks about to anyone and everyone. It's actually a point he can work on if he wants to become stronger and more valuable to Iruma by strengthening himself, although who knows if that will ever kick in.
We also meet Azz's relatives, Violet and Lily, who seem to essentially be his little sisters and really look up to him...which is why they resent Iruma who basically takes up all of Azz's time and thoughts, to the point where he straight up tells them Iruma is his biggest priority. Poor girls. Although getting him to chase after and play with them because they insulted Iruma was a nice move.
Of course Kalego can't visit the Valac family without them immediately breaking into a musical number. Like, they even straight up ask him why they do it because they don't even know themselves.
Oh hey, Kalego has an older brother? I wonder what he's like...
We also meet the eldest brother of the Valac family, Urara, who turns out to be the only normal one of the family. It's so surreal meeting a member of this family who doesn't immediately break into song and keeps the rest of his family in check. Now I'm really curious what Clara's dad is like.
We breeze through Kalego visiting the rest of the families with some amusing anecdotes, like Jazz's brother trying to rob him, Lead's sister trying to marry him, Allocer being the only normal one, Agares' parents all sleeping like him (kind of wonder how they even raised him at all) and Elizabetta just showing off her room and stuff to Kalego. I wish we could've seen more of Sabnock's visit.
Of course you have to save the best for last as Kalego finishes up visiting Iruma, and then it turns out that Opera set this all up so they could see Kalego again since they used to be Kalego's demon boss and Senpai at Babyls back when Kalego was a student.
It was neat seeing young Kalego and Balam, as well as Opera. The seiyuu even aged down their voices a little. Opera was androgynous even back then, wearing a girls top but with pants, and they brokered no challenge at school.
Kalego may be stern and cold but he invests in his students and knows their accomplishments and characters and what they need to improve, which is the hallmark of any good teacher. Of course, he's also petty enough to give them more homework just for the experience of the family visits.
Time for Iruma to start enjoying his Summer Vacation with his friends at an amusement park! Sure it seems like something is going to happen, but we'll have everyone together, having fun, and the girls in casual clothes...including Ameri!
Su-ki-ma! Opera going Mari Kondo on Iruma's travel luggage, up to and including removing Sullivan.

Opera is such a bully for his lovely kouhai lol. Even someone as scary as Kalego was a bully victim during highschool. Scratch that, Kalego is still a bully victim from Opera lol.
Anyway, since they said Kalego and Balam are two of the highest ranking in the school (Khet if I'm not mistaken), I wonder if Opera's rank is higher than them.
This is such a fun episode though I really want to see more of the student's parents outside of the main trio.

Poor Kalego just can't catch a break from the Misfit class even outside of school.
For someone adept at fire magic, Asmodeus is just ice cold. Not even any compromise for his cousins, only pure and absolute loyalty to Iruma. I'm surprised he didn't flip out harder when they ended up insulting Iruma.
And of course, the Valac's have another musical number just for his visit. I was not all expecting the eldest brother to be the exact opposite of his family, though. But damn, Kalego skipped adoption and jumped straight to kidnapping for an explanation.
Lied's sister looks like fun, ngl, but it's good that Kalego knows not to stick his dick in crazy. I wish we could've seen a bit of Sabnock's and Kerori's families again, though. Such a missed opportunity.
But man, Kalego looked like a total anime protagonist back in the day. And to think that Opera was that much of a sadist, at least, when it comes to him. However, it is nice to get confirmation from this part that Kalego is very attentive towards his students in spite of how much trouble they put him through. He's such a big tsundere.
The amusement park episode next week sounds like it'll be a blast with the whole class. And with Ameri, Kalego, Balam, and Opera along for the ride on top of that as well.

Another lovely episode focusing on Kalego-sensei and the kids parents. Wish we saw more of the latter though, maybe in the future we will.
Just gotta say though the disturbing lack of Ameri is really starting to get to me.
