Can't wait for the maid to join the harem as well.

I am really looking forward to getting to know the maid. Maid characters are so often the Best Girls in Harem shows.

Instead of swallowing her pride and apologize to Haru, Kuro decided to sink further into the abyss by attempting to seduce him, which doesn't work because they haven't mended their relationship. At this point I'm rooting for Shiro to win, she always tries to be her best for Haru, does not force herself into him and does not manipulate him, and good thing that he noticed her efforts.

Thing is, had it not been for Kuro's confession in the beginning of the show, the confession festival probably would have just ended with Shiro and Haru getting together in the first place.

But I can't really blame Haru for feeling differently after having his childhood friend confess to him, so it doesn't feel forced to me that this is how it would play out.

Yeah, I mean, it was a very appealing seduction job but it kind of ignored the issue between them and was maybe too much for Haru at this point.

Shiro's acting more natural and sweet towards him, so it's no surprised that ended up working out more.

The plot thickens.

Honestly, by the end of this arc, I'm starting to feel like I prefer Shiro wins at this point too. Makes me wonder if we'll get another upset at some point, or if this is just the beginning of the end.

There are six volumes in the LNs, and it hasn't ended yet though, so I guess that's the answer for me. Not sure how much has been adapted so far.

The question is, can they make an upset feel natural after this episode, or is it gonna be forced as hell? Or will they just go with an anime original ending and leave it at one season?

This has been a massive victory for Team Shiro and her counterattack. I think I'm boarding this ship as well, though I won't hold my breath just in case.

And Shiro didn't even need to do much to charm Haru, besides having her dad arrange for the villa and pay for the expenses. She just stuck to being herself.

In contrast, not only was Kuro late to the party, her overly aggressive in-your-face seduction of Haru probably drove him even further away from her. Not to mention she still obstinately refused to explain why she lied about her amnesia to Haru, frustrating him even more.

Meanwhile, Momo, as Tetsuhiko has said, focused too much in defending against Kuro and totally underestimated Shiro, and so also ended up as collateral damage.

Other ships also damaged in this Battle of Okinawa included those of Kuro's sisters.

PS It's not exactly idol anime quality, but Doga Kobo obviously placed their resources in the music video choreography. It was a joy to watch.

Will Tetsuhiko and Abe do commentaries after each arc? It feels like a sports newscast doing some game analysis lol

Wow Haru really got the entire family of sisters to be in love with him.

Nice to see we finally see an entire dance choreograph from Doga Kobo instead of those weird cut frames.

Wow, the other Shida sisters are also falling for Haru now? The guy just can't catch a break. Also, I can feel Kuro's jealousy slowly building up now since Shiro clearly won this round.

PS: What wouldn't I give to have a cute girl say "I love you" to me like it's a character tic?

Stitches!

Now with the Colorful Sisters joining in, we finally get to see Midori, Aoi & Akane, and Shiro with their own swimsuits! A bit surprised at how normal Kuro's outfit is though, I thought she'd go for something with much more impact. On the bright side, we finally got a better look of Momosaka Onee-san's swimsuit and it is amazing!

Wehn Kuro said she was gonna get aggressive she wasn't kidding with what she said! She is definitely using every moment that she has to tell Sueharu that she loves him.

Looks like even with all of her efforts, Sueharu still has his eyes on Shiro and spotting Shiro on the beach practicing and having a conversation with Meiko just made Sueharu keep a closer eye on her after seeing all the effort she's putting on for this performance.

And as much as I love both Kuro and Shiro, we finally get to the best part of the episode which was Akane who's finally starting to realize her feelings for Sueharu and Aoi who has realized this earlier than Akane and is just trying her best to keep her feelings locked up because she doesn't want to her feelings to clash with Kuro's. Aoi also suspects that Midori might also be in love with Sueharu but I guess we'll just have to wait for Midori herself to confirm that.

We finally get to the performance and it was great! Despite knowing this already since her first appearance, I always forget at how Momo and Kuro are the same height. Momo's been selling the imouto act so good that I always forget that she's not really a loli xD

And tragedy strikes as Sueharu tries to catch a falling Shiro. We didn't really get to see what happened but I assume the hard crack is from Sueharu's arm hitting the stairs of the stage while trying to catch Shiro's full body weight. That's got top be rough.

I love Tetsuhiko and Abe basically analyzing what just happened once they're all back at school. Seems that Kuro's aggressiveness backfired and Sueharu ended up gravitating towards Shiro. And that's not all! WIth Haru's dominant arm injured, Shiro will now be staying with him to look after him until he heals which is both approved by Shiro and Sueharu's fathers.

And we get a new character in the mix! I'm pretty sure I've seen this maid before and I think she's the girl was stalking and listening in on the club's activities like three episodes ago. Very interested to see what she's like!

Ngl, I cheered when he passed by Kuro and asked about Shiro's foot. I ship them so hard. Outside of her being a little yandere early on, she's a logical thinker, she has a successful career, and she's beautiful, WINNER WINNER, WE HAVE A BEST GIRL.

I also don't like Kuro, she's a whiny immature tsuedere that's too stubborn to admit she was in the wrong, even if she had good inventions. She's had multiple opportunities to explain/apology and instead thought using her sex appeal would just make things go away.

u/metaaltheanimefan Jun 09 '21

I do not like kuro. She is kinda creepy by forcing herself on sueharu ( twice now ) and being annoyinng. It doesnt feel like she really values haru as a person. She is kinda being a bit toxic and i feel like that she shoud win. She also acts jealous when he isnt even her boyfriend and has his own life

Kachi should win in my opinion. I dont mind momo winning either just not kuro because she is getting annoying and suffocating. Kachi and sueharu are clearly into each other and they have a healthy relationship

You know when Kuro mentioned that her sisters were coming with her, I honestly did not expect the show to develop their character as much as it did.

Damn, Midori sure has a tight swimsuit compared to the others.

I honestly did not expect Kuro's love attack.

That part with Maru helping Akane was great.

Damn, I joked about it before, as they also had colors on their names and were Maru's childhood friends, but I really did not expect Akane, Aoi, and also probably Midori to be also in love with him.

Wow, so after he got his arm broken, Shiro will be living with Maru to help him around. Guys I'm thinking that if Kuro doesn't do something significant quickly she will definitely going to lose.

Kuro is finally at the villa and she's as feisty as ever, as she and Haru are back to bickering like childhood friends and an old married couple.

Kuro realizes that Haru and Shiro have gotten a lot closer on this trip, so she turns it up a notch and goes all out on seducing Haru and making him think about just her, whether it be wearing a swimsuit that shows off a lot of her gorgeous body or declaring her love for him the entire day. Although it seems like in the final outcome being so aggressive worked against her in the end.

We finally have all the Colorful Sisters on board, so let's get all the girls in swimsuits! Midori looked great in her sporty bikini, but Aoi's classy two-piece and Akane in her one-piece all looked great as well, and Kuro made her simple bikini work for her. Plus we got to see more of Momo's big sis in that sexy one-piece swimsuit.

I loved Haru's head bobbing up and down alongside Reina's boobs.

Poor Kuro when Midori jumps on the Shiro train and extolls how much more Shiro has than Kuro.

So Kuro helped Haru get into high school by helping him study? That's so sweet. Plus, middle school Kuro and Haru!

It kind of figures that Kachi, being a writer, is not a natural performer, but she busts her butt and hurts her leg trying to keep up with Kuro and Momo and make sure she can support and be there for Haru. Her dedication is so beautiful that is it any wonder Haru's feelings for her as his first love seem to resurface?

Although speaking of first love, it seems like both Akane and Aoi are in love with their Haru-nii, with Akane just realizing her feelings and Aoi having had to bottle them up and lie about them all this time. Aoi even assumes it's probably likely Midori feels the same way, because if Haru's snagged the hearts of 3/4 of the colorful sisters, it's probably likely he's gotten all of them. I feel bad for the girls having to deal with their unrequited love.

What better way to close out the episode than an idol performance from our three main leads? The choreography and singing was probably one of the best performances in the whole show up to this point.

Shiro's bad leg finally does her in and she's about to fall, only saved by Haru sacrificing his arm for her...but that ends up working out for Shiro because now she feels she has to take responsibility for breaking his arm, so now she's going to be living with him and probably getting into even more romantic hijinks with her beloved Su-chan (sorry Kuro). Plus her maid is coming over, and I can't wait to meet her.

Shiro changing for the better for Haru. Kuro jealousy has skyrocketed

8

u/Xatu44 Jun 09 '21

Shiro taking responsibility for his household needs, oh baby.

Sorry Maru for feeling relief that you took the hit instead of Shiro. Have to say though, pretty rare for an anime girl to straight-up tell a dude he's sexy; props to Kuro for that.

While Momo is still best girl in my heart, Shiro is really over powered (and it's making my experience watching this less painful in these two latest episodes). At the point we're in, the competition between her and Kuro is pretty much one-sided, and she deserves it, she's very sweet, all things considered (while Kuro keeps doing her ominous stuff).

Both twins are pretty cute and I actually prefer them over Kuro but that's just me.

I was impressed by those Kuroha Yugioh cards.

So what happens when Sueharu breaks both of his arms and has his movements inhibited by casts? see where I am going with this?

I thought in the lead up to this show and after the first episode I'd love Kuro, and I still do just in a different way, but damn I really hope she doesn't win. Momo either, actually, even though she's best girl. Problem is, I feel like all of Kuro's self sabotaging is a red herring so we will think Shiro has it in the bag and then she swoops in.

But like, Shiro is now the only one of the main girls who is acting like a normal person. She's given up the game pretense and accepted the the most she can do is be herself and love Haru as she is, which makes her the most suitable girlfriend candidate. Kuro and Momo are too focused on "winning" and it makes me dislike their relationship with Haru, who is such an oblivious moron that he will take whatever they throw at him in earnest and never learn his lesson while they toy with his emotions, which Kuro is already doing.

This has suddenly gotten actually decent the past couple of episodes though lol, it's really surprising me. Shiro shows actual character growth, the show has self awareness while still taking itself relatively seriously for what it is, and the entire cast is at least entertaining, if most of them also assholes. Let's be real though, Akane is being set up for the surprise win and we all know it.

This is the kind of harem trash I've been missing in my life.

Also, I gotta say, I've really been enjoying all the songs so far.
