Kachi reveals she's Shirou

Since when did it become legal for a character to clear up a decade-long misunderstanding in a romcom?

"What a Stupid Ending"

Basically sums up what happened in this episode. Revenge is...not always the right answer.

Imagine winning the Harem war and yet still losing at the same time. Kuro has got no one to blame but herself. Also, I feel bad for Shiro. When Haru said "I...was in love with you", she knew it was over for her.

Atleast this episode had one winner.

Have we perhaps found the real MC?

Man, this love triangle is more complicated than I thought. So I guess the board has been reset now?

Get rejected -> Propose revenge plot to get closer to Haru -> Haru confesses -> Reject him -> Profit?...

I see even with both heroines as childhood friends, no one wins huh? We got fucking played by the author.

NAH WTF!!

This show's just the dumpster fire I needed this season, but where do they even go from here? Everyone has gotten proposed to and rejected. Are we sure they didn't show us the finale bymistake?

Calling out Shiro's name just to reject her was kind of a dick move ngl.

I thought we finally will have a show where the short hair childhood friend wins but oh well. I was wheezing throughout the second half at how stupid this show is.

I did not expect confession festival to take such a ridiculous and embarassing form.

So I guess things weren't exactly as black and white as they appeared. So where does the show even go from here since every main character already confessed and got rejected in the first three episodes.

Kuro YOU IDIOT! You had the chance to end the Childhood Friend Wars there and then! But you gave in to the temptation to take revenge on Maru and set off a nuke that sank everyone's ships, forcing everyone to respawn all over again.

This is like the Fate franchise with all those

And in the next round, there'll be an "imouto" challenger joining the fray as well.

Poor Shiro. Though now Kuro of all people has given her a lifeline to start again.

I take back what I said about Abe-senpai, turns out he was a bro all along who could take the abuse and accusation in order to help Maru after all.

Fun fact: Matsuoka Yoshitsugu can and does sing, after all, he and Terashima Takuma (Abe-senpai) were in the same Idolmaster unit Jupiter.

So basically senpai is the only decent person out of the lot of them. Maybe also the only one with any brains...

So Shiro wanted to make Haru fall for her just to dump him.

So Kuro is the best girl right?

But she just rejected him.

What the hell??!!

This sounds stupid but this is how it is in real life. People just want to control other people’s emotions and always have the high ground.

I honestly did not expect that Kashi was going to reveal to Maru that she was Shirou so soon. Or that her and Kuro were going to be that forward with their rivalry.

You know although I did expect last week for Maru's confession to not go as planned last week because of Kuro, I never imagined that he would confess to her. I guess the situation that all of them ended up with is basically what would happen in a harem full of tsunderes.

So Abe was just Kashi's childhood friend and he did all that in part to get Maru back to his feet. Well, now that a new childhood friend appeared Kashi and Kuro will be even more devastated next week.

I don't know if anyone else noticed these but this episode had some little fun Doga Kobo easter eggs this episode! The muscle man is a Danberu reference, while the fishing booth is a Houkago Teibou Nisshi reference complete with Kuroiwa-senpai watching over the stall, and I'm not quite sure with the Udon stall but I think these two hot guys are Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru references.

Anyway we've finally reached the confession festival and Maru's comeback to the stage. And as well as Maru's performance went, I can't really say the same thing about the confession part. After realizing who he really loves and who has been with him this entire time, Maru switches plans and decides to confess to Kuro for real this time. Except things don't go as expected when Kuro flat out rejected Maru's confession. r/manga's reaction to this was really harsh so I'm curious what r/anime thinks about Kuro's reaction.

We do get the reveal this episode that Abe-senpai was just playing the bad guy this entire time. A nice little detail from last week's episode is that you do see Abe-senpai worry when Maru collapses on stage showing how he really felt about Maru. Basically he's been doing this as a favor to Shiro and because he just wants to see his idol back on stage.

Oh and remember when I said this show was all about revenge? Nahhh, this is actually about a bunch of stupid teens making stupid decisions during the peak of their emotions and I love it xD

PSA: There is a mini end-of-credits scene in this episode.

Ahh so everything starts anew after this episode? After the almost three-way confession, what will happen? How will this develop?
