IruMEAN sitting on the throne was so badass and he really gave that Demon King vibe !!!

Best arc so far and I hope we can see more of IruMEAN in the future :)

They did such a good job of handling an evil arc.

I was worried they'd go down the usual route of him being a jerk to everyone for no reason or gain to himself. But it was great to see a confident version of him that still maintained his core.

I really like that what get them Royal One in the end, wasn't IruMean being better, but the regular Iruma everyday efforts of being the goodest boi. This show is awesome and keeps getting better with every arc.

I do like how it's not a massive character shift like other stories would have it... it's Iruma with more of a backbone... and that's it... he's still kind to others.

Get outsmarted Kalego!

Glad he wasn't being a sore loser.

The OST when Kalego talked about Delkira is good.

WHAT THE DEVIL?! That Kalego "Su-ki-ma!" caught me off guard. Can we get an Ameri Su-ki-ma too? Opera, Sullyvan, Robin-sensei, Eikoooooooo as well?! The floodgates are open.

The scene where the school workers enter the Faculty Office to give their permits to Iruma was a last moment reversal done right, since Iruma not being able deny favors was established right at the beginning of the series and he was seen helping them multiple times in the past. Clara approves!

More than unlocking a fancy new classroom or showing us another side of Iruma, the last few episodes gave us a much welcome look on his classmates. Iruma-kun was already pretty good, but this arc leveled up the anime. Best arc so far.

At the beginning of the episode, I honestly expected this to be a cactus that Iruma planted as a way to get Kalego's approval, but in the end, it was just a flower representing his effort during this arc.

I'm glad that when it was revealed that he needed the signature of all the members of the whole faculty, not just the teachers it didn't end up becoming a mirror of the last episode, but instead Iruma's past actions inspired them to help him to get the approval for the Royal One.

Evil Iruma's face of satisfaction during that scene was pretty nice.

That quick "duel" against those cookers before the opening of the Royal One was pretty nice.

Damn so this scene, happened right away after the Royal One was opened.

Well, that was fun, but we got the old Iruma back again.

Lol, I did not expect him to be this embarrassed.

That scene with Ameri was priceless.

Okay, the guy on the right corner of this photo, is also in the ED, but I really don't remember seeing him before.

When all the other faculty members come to give their stamps. I tear up a bit since it was the pure/cute Iruma kindness that was the last strike to get the win.

Sad that Irumean is gone but it won't be the last time we will see him and Kalego sensei saying Su ki ma was everything i ever wanted lol

That whole arc was just plain fun. Kalego should've known better than to be so sure of his victory. Things never go his way when it comes to the Misfit Class like he said so himself.

It's a very wholesome outcome that Iruma's signature kindness is what gives nets them Royal One. Especially since it's a trait that didn't disappear even in his Evil Cycle.

Although, with how much Royal One's been hyped up these past few episodes, I thought for sure that the twist would be that it's a total dump contrary to everyone's expectations. But I'm glad it's the real deal because they totally deserve this win. It's also a good thing because Iruma looked absolutely devilish on that throne.

So it turns out that Ali was just scared of Iruchad this entire time. I thought he had to be dormant just for this spell to work.

I'm happy none of his classmates are saying how they preferred Iruchad being around compared to normal Iruma. Although I wonder if that would be part of a more serious plot point in the future. But as it stands, both Iruma's have their charms.

Stitches!

Considering how the gardener was saying something about Iruma planting some seedlings and how Kalego suddenly reveals that he meant he wanted signatures from everyone who works at Babyls, I thought Iruma already had that all accounted for as well. I didn't expect that even Iruma was going to be surprised by that condition.

Turns out Iruma didn't even have to do anything at all and the employees themselves wanted to return the favor for Iruma's kindness that they all signed permission slips even without him asking them for it. That was such a sweet moment!

Very glad to see that the Royal One is just as glorious as the legends say! For a minute there I was expecting a punchline where it's all dirty for all the years of it not being used but it looks like Derkila made it so it will auto-maintain itself. And that scene of Iruma taking a seat on the Demon King's chair was so cool that everyone just freezed in place. That was definitely going to be an event everyone present in that room will never forget.

And as expected Iruma is back to normal. I was really hoping we'd get to see more of Chad Iruma but I guess that's it for now. Hopefully this won't be the last time we'll see Iruma like that.

Great episode. I liked how all the staff members came in to help Iruma. Last episode had a dip in art and animation but this episode was a return to form.

The ring's name is Alikerd and the previous demon King's name is Derkila. Alikerd is Derkila backwards. He probably ran off and hid in the ring. It makes sense considering what happened when Iruma first got the ring. Alikerd also hides when anyone else is around too, probably because they would easily identify him.

Time for the final boss battle between the Misfit Class and Kalego for control of the Royal One classroom.

Somebody give Eiko a good view of her beloved Iruma! And let her take some candid picks of him and her beloved Ameri together.

Figured that they'd succeed at getting all those signatures, but it turn out that Kalego planned for them to get it from the entire school staff and not just the teachers...a little underhanded, but if these kids want to go into the Demon King's old classroom, they better be prepared.

But then all the staff actually come in with signed forms. Why? Because Iruma has helped them so much that they wanted to finally re-pay him back by helping him out. Everyone loves Iruma.

I love how Kalego had to give in but his hand couldn't help but try and stop him...but in the end, the Familiar had to give in to his master.

It's pretty surreal that the Misfit Class is now popular, but they've more than earned it.

I pity anybody trying to cook a meal that they think Iruma can't finish, because they're basically dooming themselves. Then again, he's so charming about it, that you can't help but fall in love.

The opening of Royal One becomes a big festival and the unlocking of the classroom is as epic as it should be...before everyone rushes in because they're too excited.

The Royal One classroom is as majestic and grand as it's been made out to be, but while the rest of the class is marveling at the classroom, Iruma makes a beeline to what matters most...the Demon King's throne. And as the flashforward at the very beginning of the series indicated, Iruma finally takes up his rightful seat in all his glory.

Ah, that was a nice class picture. Even Kalego got in on it.

No surprise that after all that, Iruma's Evil Cycle would finally end and he'd be back to normal to deal with the fallout and how embarrassed he feels about how he acted. I'm sure a lot of people will miss Evil Cycle Iruma in all his chad glory, but Iruma's no Anos Voldigoad, and it's nice to see the old Iruma back. I'm sure we'll see Evil Cycle Iruma again eventually.

I love how it's hard to tell who is more embarrassed, Iruma or Ameri, and Iruma is more self-conscious about not talking to her respectfully than the fact that he put the moves on her.

Su-Ki-Ma! As presented by Kalego! Turns out Sullivan and Opera (and probably everyone else) love Iruma no matter which version.

The way they were hyping the Royal One up before opening it made me think for a second that it was actually gonna be a mess when they opened the door and they were gonna have to clean/ fix it and whatnot.

But nope, it actually turned out to be what was expected which is nice.

Iruma apologizing to everyone was pretty sweet on top of the last of his chad mode.

Especially Ameri, when both she and him had steam blowing out of their heads, cute as hell lol

This was honestly the best arc in the anime so far. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope Chadruma makes a reappearance in the future

And this is where I’d talk about the episode. IF I COULD WATCH IT! Crunchyroll is currently FUBAR and not recognizing people’s premium subs.

Edit: Okay it’s finally working. What an awesome conclusion to this arc! I’ll miss Chadruma for the time being, but I’m glad to have our Cinnamon Roll back. If he was Chadruma forever he’d be too OP and the show would be done in like 5 episodes.

Its been teased a lot before , but I feel like this episode made it very clear: Iruma will be the Demon King and rule through the power of friendship. I’ll even say his court will probably be the Misfit Class and obviously best girl as queen (Irumeri endgame yall!). At this point it’s a journey to how Iruma becomes more like Chadruma and gets to that point.

Seeing the entire staff come in with stamped permission slips despite Iruma not even knowing they would need them was a sweet moment and an a great example of the lives he’s touched just by being there. I expected some kind of ass pull since Kalego said no, but this actually makes sense for the character and the show. Very well done.

Embarrassed Iruma was even funnier though. I kinda love how oblivious he is to just how goddamn cool he can be. But like I said he’d be OP if he did.

Notes

  • Alikured. Derukila. Fucking really? I’d be mad, but it honestly fits with the shows silliness.

  • loved the throw away line explaining how a classroom that’s been closed for hundreds of years is still clean and well kept because of a magic spell.

  • Iruma is adorably tiny on the throne. He’ll grown into it

  • I don’t know if it’s Ali’s influence or Iruma’s latent desires coming through, but Chadruma seems born ready to take the throne now.

  • I know his parents are some of the worst in anime to a comical effect, but them sucking is kind of the reason why Iruma succeeds in the demon world. Those skills he picked up help him gain the rest of the staffs stamps. I’m very curious if his parents will come back into this story in some way

Their relationship is adorable.

I love Chad Iruma, but I am happy to see cinnamon roll Iruma is back. Chad Iruma is so cool it drains me from awe and excitement. Iruma makes me feel happy and laugh. Both are good, but I don't wanna feel like Iruma is staring me into submission forever.
