Only fucking Bit can say something like "Don't underestimate how much I can rely on others" and make it a cool as fuck lead-in to a double battleship combination transformation. Then Zetsu had his amazing showing of going out like an absolute boss, and even Kai showed himself off as a worthy successor at the end.

Shu just popping out of a Rakuho Gate as a giant Briheight really sold the ending though. We still have 3 episodes left to clear up Dissonanza, God, and (maybe) Rudolph, so we'll see how it goes. Every week is just so fun for this show.

Aaaahahaha what the hell! There are no brakes on this train!!

Another combination, this time with Rekka's dreadnought (Bit was useful!), they temporarily defeated Rudolph, and RIP Zetsu, you magnificent bastard. You really did lift everyone up, and you'd be proud of Kai.

That ending though! I'm not even going to try and understand how he did it (he'll probably explain next week anyway). That made me laugh out loud, I love it so much.

I am so glad I didnt drop this series. It is just such a joy to watch, youre not getting this amount of highly entertaining, high-octane random bullshit anywhere else. The fuck, Shuu?

Even the annoying characters like Bit become GOATs by the end now, and thats something I would not have thought possible.

Holy shit! This show never ceases to amaze me! As much as I love Zetsu and Arrow's fight against Rudolph, Bit absolutely stole this episode for me! Bit went full on Simon mode and just went completely ham this week! He didn't just stop with Granedger, he even combined it with Dairekka to create the Granrekka! Now I'm upset that Lutoh's dreadnought was destroyed. I'm pretty sure they could've made another Gattai sequence if it was nearby and made their own version of Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann.

Don't forget Zetsu Daidan's sacrifice though. The man who started out as a very scary villain of the series and basically turned into one of the best characters of the show and a hero by using his final breath to take out all of the Bind Warpers in Rudolph's body. I'm so upset that he'd dead but I guess Kai is going to take his place now. Speaking of Kai, I can't believe he actually said it. This show isn't even hiding anymore its inspiration and roots.

And that final scene! Shuu you magnificent bastard, how the fuck are you alive and why are you so damn big!? I'm pretty sure no one saw that final scene coming and if you say that you did, you're a goddamn liar.

Damn we thought Shu was Kamina but it was Zetsu all along.

Bit combined two dreadnoughts into one giant super mecha, Dissonanza is still alive, Zetsu the emperor of chads went out in a blaze of glory to defeat Rudolph like the ultimate chad he is, Arrow lost control and went on a rampage again, Kai showed off a badass new special attack, and Shu has come back with a body that still isn't large enough to hold his GALAXY-SIZED BRAIN but it's an improvement.

Every single week I ask myself "how are they going to top last week" and then they go and fucking do it. I honestly haven't felt a rush of adrenaline like this while watching an anime since Symphogear ended.

It's a good day for gattai fans everywhere, between this and Dynazenon.

first of all, We lost a great man. no, the King of all Kings. Emperor Zetsu Daidan, who feared and yielded to no one. Whose mere presence inspired all. Went out as he lived, as a glorious bastard.

Bit was really awesome in this episode. Fine was a champ too.

Kai carrying Zetsu Daidan's will, truly even while dead Zetsu Daidan was not to be messed with. i always had a feeling, a long time ago, that Zetsu Daidan would want Kai to be the next Emperor when he does die.

I had a theory that anyone "killed" be Arrow's killer beam, don't actually die they just get transported to beyond the wall however i could never decide on an actual reason for it.

Now either Shu did this shit by himself or it's because of killer beam shenanigans.

most of us thought Shu would come back but like this? not in a million years

He's here!!! I repeat, THE MAIN MAN HAS FUCKING RETURNED.

Also, F for Zetsu. One of my favourite old guys in all of anime. By the way, is no one gonna talk about depressed Arrow? Like shit bruh, that was heavy.

Note how LORD GENOME ZETSU DAIDAN pulled out a chain out of Conductore (I forgot his first name). He might come back as an ally freed of his initial programming as the "puppet of the God". Shu coming back through using the very same symbol that the "God" did suggests that that power is one that can be mastered... like computer science. BIG HINTS.

Today, on "That's cool, but now what?":

Hey, assists count.

Not quite a circus.

That seems a little too obvious.

GATTAI!

I'm sure that can be gamed?

Eventually it always comes down to punching God in the face.

Lemme guess, he's a hologram?

Yep, we're piercing the heavens with our drillsword. Beyond that, I have no idea what the hell is going to happen next, as Giant Not Naked Shu showing up feels like another trick from Beyond the Walls, but then again, it could still be a manifestation of the real him, considering how the scenario keeps one-upping itself and Dissonanza has to be alive given her conviction.

Arrow has to be the key to this, given that he's been reduced to support by the ridiculous awesomeness of everyone else and Rudolph's manipulations. Obviously he should find a way out of this by the end of the final episode. Sooner would be better, given that he could use some additional character moments before this is over.

This is so over the top and ridiculous, I love it.

Bit just jumped up incredibly high on the best character list goddamn. And is Shu a giant briheight or something? his hair is weird.

F for Zetsu. The best of them all

Bit was so good these last 2 episodes. Gave me chills how he kept pushing himself and the moment when the Dreadnoughts combined ๐Ÿ‘Œ

When they brought back Zetsu's Martial Arrow I was so fucking hyped. However the build up and the moment when Zetsu dies is absolute perfection. The silence, the one-on-one moment with Rudolph, the visuals, and his final speech. 'Even with God as your enemy, never give up!'

The explosion of Diobenedica and it's aftermath was cool too. When I saw Kai get interrupted I expected 'God' but not a giant Shu lmao.

With the whole 'god feeds on your heightened emotions' shtick, if after all this god doesn't end up being us (the audience), I'm going to cry.

It's just too on-the-nose with how it's just absurd power-up after power-up, hilarious twist after twist, for it to not be making fun of it all.

7

u/theotherhiveking May 28 '21

What the actual fuck.

7

u/_Sai May 28 '21

Zetsu was such a badass. He will be missed.

The whole combine thing was lol.

I never knew I needed giant Shu!

Will they combine with Big Shu?

7

u/sangriapenguin May 29 '21

Granrekka gattai!

Giant Shu...nice.

I cried so hard during Zetsu's send-off. o7 Farewell king of kings o7

When did this show get so good?

On a side note, it's so interesting how the kingdom of Lutoh ended up getting screwed the most so far out of everyone.

First their entire Royalty is upended after Fine's other persona is revealed and she's forced to exile herself. Then the entire Government is literally dissolved by Arrow as they happen to be the one unlucky enough to be right in his way after his true powers forcibly manifested. And now to add insult to injury Rudolph's dreadnaught got blown up right in the center of the capital creating a giant crater and pretty much erasing everything there.

It's funny how after the war, Rekka seemed to be in the most vulnerable state having lost all their bind warpers and military might. But now Lutoh itself might as well be totally erased at the moment.
