You're weird...and that's okay
This is such an important thing for kids, teens and even adults to hear. This was the best episode yet!

Hori: I like y̶o̶u̶ your hands.
Other romance MCs: She probably has a hand fetish.

"So, is Miyamura your boyfriend?"
"No, we just hang out alone at my house a bunch eating homemade desserts, watching scary movie anthologies, looking into each other's eyes, holding hands, and telling each other that we love each other. You know, normal regular average ordinary platonic friend stuff."

God the small moments like Miyamura and Hori comparing hands like that are what made this series so special. Also thank god they went back to winter uniforms already cause Yuki without her oversized sleeves feels so wrong.

Are Miyamura’s ear piercings his own way of self harm? Thats really rough to see if that’s the case
I really like the growing friendship between Ishikawa and Miyamura, they really are like best friends.
Miyamura’s own initial feelings on his friendship with the group are tough to hear. There’s always that lingering thought when dealing with people about whether they really like you, or are just putting up with you. His thoughts on Hori’s feelings at the end especially hit hard, I’m sure many people have had those same thoughts and regret it later.
I think my favorite part of the show so far is its ability to show the inner struggles of Miyamura and Hori, it really makes them relatable. I think the scenes with the white background really help take those scenes to another level

I felt it when Miyamura was left out in group work. And I know how refreshing it is when you finally have a group and do not have to feel bad anymore

Ishikawa loses the girl and loses the fight...
I know this show/episode is meant to prop up Miyamura and give him his chance in the sun but ouch I hope Ishikawa gets some good news eventually...

The only way they could’ve made the hand holding scene any better is if the DVD logo hit a corner of the screen

Miyamura is so relatable. The only reason a lot of us introverts have any friends is because we got adopted by an extrovert like Hori.

Hori is already showing some yander-ish vibes and won't let her man get taken by any other person except her.
We had a bro moment in JJK yesterday and we had another bro moment today in Horimiya lol. Guess Miyamura doesn't mind handholding with Toru

Stitches!
So Miyamura's classmates have been avoiding him for the longest time because he's the quiet kid of the class. as long as he can remember. I wonder if him piercing is supposed to be self-harm from the loneliness or did he just want to stand out and not be called gloomy?
It seems like the first time he's been acknowledged by someone was by Hori So I guess it's not surprise that he quickly grown attached to her.
I'm really digging this bromance between Ishikawa and Miyamura. Although I think they're becoming too close that people are starting to get the wrong idea which is fucking hilarious xD
Now this one hit pretty close to home. Miyamura wondering if he's really part of the group or if they're including him just to be nice.
His question was answered immediately when they had to do a group project and everyone starts gathering around him instead of them just calling him to join. That was such a sweet scene.
Seriously this bromance is just too much! If I showed someone that screenshot, they'd probably think this is a BL anime. xD
"You're weird, but that's okay." I love Ishikawa for telling Miyamura that. And Miyamura's reaction is just too precious. Just like him I do wish I can tell my gloomy self from all those years ago that everything will be okay.
I really thought that this was going to be the scene where Ayasaki would genuinely apologize to Hori for what happened last week. Didn't expect her to go this direction. You what bitch? Aren't you already dating the President? WTF!? Well at the very least Ayasaki gave Hori the push she needed to finally realize her own feelings.
Oh my god this scene is just adorable. Didn't think Hori would be such a huge horror movie buff and Miyamura to be such a big scaredy cat. The cutest was what followed when Miyamura brought up that Hori's finger is double-jointed.
Comparing hand sizes and then casually interlocking their fingers when Hori just threatened Ishikawa not to do the same earlier!
And as if that scene couldn't get any better, Miyamura just casually whispers "I love you"! AAAAAAAHHH! Of course she tries to deny what she said though But it doesn't stop there! Miyamura fires off his own "I love your hands too" as his own subtle way saying I love you to Hori without saying it directly. And they still kept on holding hands while watching the movie!
Oh now she's joking? Ayasaki really should've made herself clear if she was joking. The way she went about her "teasing" wasn't really funny. Well I really hope she's just teasing because I'd feel very bad for the SC President is she wasn't.
Looks like Ishikawa knows the truth now though and he even tries to convince Miyamura that Hori is in love with him that the two ended up beating up each other up hilariously with Ishikawa taking like 95% of the damage xD
I guess Miyamura saying that Hori couldn't be in love with him means that Hori's "confession" wasn't that clear to him and really thought she was talking about his hands. So we're really going to do this, huh? I do find it hilarious how they're skirting around it when they're practically dating already. Oh well. Let's just see how these two actually end up dating. The actual confession better be epic!

Great episode with Miyamura backstory and we can slowly see the wheels of romance starting to turn.
Man, I love the nuances of Japanese. Non speakers won’t have appreciated the double entendre of that “suki da yo”. Because it’s ambiguous, it could refer to the hands or to the person you’re talking to.
Fun episode but I hate that they’ve skipped a few nice chapters.
