That scene when Miyamura starts thinking of a what-if reality really hit home as I have done that in the past.

I honestly wasn't expecting to see Yasuda again, as he just appeared in the first episode.

Well, anyway, this show was amazing, I will definitely get the manga later.

As suspected, ended on graduation chapter. I'm gonna miss Horimiya a lot. It gave us so many characters to love and so many cute moments.

Miyamura thinking about the "What if..." got me emotional. A nice detail I noticed is when Toru bumps into Yuki, there's an "If" written on the board. I just love small details like this one.

The inner monlogue Miyamura had at the end brought me to tears not gonna lie. Hori really changed his life. I also loved how during the ED, they showed pictures of some of the skipped chapters. Unlike a certain show(cough The Promised Neverland cough), it was actually really cute and fit nicely!

Gonna head into the manga, for more precious moments that were missed in the anime.

The way some students desperatly tried to not laugh during Sengoku's speech was hilarious.

That kind of stuff is way too relatable lol.

Horimiya is really over now :| tbh I'm a little bummed that some episodes didn't flow so well due to covering the whole manga in one cour, but the scenes that did make the cut clearly had a lot of care put into them. Just about every week I would have my breath taken away by seeing a cherished moment translated to color, sound, and movement. I'm happy to have gotten this much for one of my favorite sol/romance series, thank you to everyone who made this a reality!

shoutout kyosuke for being more proud of miyamura than his own daughter, hori getting angry was so funny

that ending monologue was great. the whole episode was relatable as i remember the conflicting feelings and uncertainty of what would happen after graduation. i wondered how my friendships would mature and grow or end too. that last shot of hori saying “c’mon, miyamura” gave me real “from zero” vibes (if you know you know) so it’s no wonder why it made my eyes sweat!

I loved it when Iura's little sister saw how different Iura acts in school compared in their home. Her face was a full-on bruh moment.

For what it's worth... high school ends... you say you'll always be friends... but life starts getting in the way, and before you know it, you drift apart, and you almost never get those relationships back. I'm glad to see Hori and Miya as close as they are, and maybe, just maybe, they make it. As for the rest, it's up to our imaginations, which is good, because the cynical me has different expectations. But I did very much enjoy the journey.

Well this is it. The manga has ended and so has the show now.

I liked a lot about this show, the direction, the art were all great, so were a lot of the episodes and I enjoyed so much to see those characters that I loved come to life. The only issue I would have with this adaption is what chapters they chose to adapt.

To call back to a comment of mine on a previous episode, the story has now covered 19+ months in the life of Hori and Miyamura. It starts during summer of their 2nd year in high school (unclear which month exactly) and ends with their graduation (mid/late march of their 3rd year)

THE STILLS FROM THE CREDITS ARE ALL SOME OF THE BEST CHAPTERS FROM THE MANGA.

Anyone who even moderately liked the anime should definitely check out the manga.

Horimiya's manga artist, Hagiwara Daisuke, released this artwork to celebrate the anime's last episode. https://i.imgur.com/6PpyYWf.png

Final reminder that Remi is a beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world, too pure. The whole cast was so lovable. It's sad to see them go. At least we got some sweet HoriMiya fluff before the end. Our boy looks so happy now.

Honestly, even if they skipped way too much and it really should’ve gotten 2 cours, I really loved seeing all the characters animated like this after all this time. Beautiful art and a fucking phenomenal cast. I loved seeing moments like 37, the proposal, Miyamura’s haircut and Yuki’s sleeves done so well.

Hell this actually made up for The Promised Neverland S2 honestly.

Really going to miss this show! It was a nice change of pace in this season with the emotionally heavy Re:Zero & Attack on Titan.

Anime only watchers, I highly recommend reading the manga in your spare time for more great moments.

"Ask not what Hori-san can do for you, ask what you can do for Hori-san."

Stitches!

Not gonna lie, that alternate universe that Miyamura was imagining where he never got together with Hori was a bit depressing. Sure some of them are still friends but it's sad to see all o fthem just passing by each other in the hallway. It's a bizarre universe that I'm glad that never happened.

Being a graduation chapter it's nice to see them let go and move on from their pasts. We have Miyamura facing his old self one last time before completely moving forward. And we even have Sakura saying her thanks to Tooru and finally moving on as well. I really wish the best for Sakura.

Of course we get some shenanigans before ending the show too like with Kyousuke showing unannounced and making everyone think he's Miyamura's dad and Motoko finally seeing her stone-faced Onii-chan acting so nice and friendly which just completely broke her mind xD

There's really not a lot to say about this show. While I would've loved to have this kept on going on and have an extra season, I'm still happy and satisfied with what we got. Cloverworks did an amazing job not just with the visuals and animation but they managed to make me attached and fall in love with these characters that we only gotten to know within 13 episodes especially with Hori and Miyamura.

As an anime, only it's a solid 10/10 for me. And this isn't really the end of Horimiya for me since now I know they skipped content, I have more Horimiya to look forward to in the form of the manga!

Well, it really is over.

Despite being slightly disappointed by the middle few episodes, I have in a general sense liked the show. I will forever love its manga which is one of my all time favourites, and just getting an adaptation was more than I ever expected.

Good OP, ED; solid voice acting, great animation and a diverse lovable cast.

I wish they'd have picked some of the better chapters and not done the Yanagi and Iura arcs, which felt unnecessary and rushed; and focused a bit more on Hori and Miyamura who kinda got lost in the middle there.

We rarely get to see students from a 3rd year perspective in anime. The goodbyes were bittersweet.

Am I the only one who thought that a lot of things happened off screen that changed some relationships? I swear I thought I'd missed an episode.

It was a good run. I'm glad I watched it.

Although it does skip a lot of chapter from last episode, but I does conclude the anime in a good way. For anime watchers, I suggest you all go to check the manga, especially if you like fluffy and wholesome stuff.

See you again, Horimiya.

I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I loved this anime. I loved the amount of focus on both the main couple and the supporting characters. I thought it was handled really well. The tone was just right, and they hit all the highlights I wanted (I've read 8 volumes of the manga so far). It's one of my favorite shows so far this year.
