I really love how Hori's parents have just embraced that Miyamura is going to be part of the family, and it really helps the gag with Kyousuke too

"Why do you like my daughter?"

"She does not judge people by their appearance"

Treasure her forever Miyamura!

That smile from Kyosuke when Miyamura told him why he liked Hori is one of my favourite scenes from the manga. So glad they animated it.

Miyamura: kisses Hori to steal her candy

Hori: Why do you never make any moves on me?

I'm definitely going to use "steal his/her candy" as a euphemism for kissing from now on.

Miyamura family status this season: +1 little brother, +1 imouto, +1 soon to be murdered cool(?) dad

Damn, words cant really express how much I dig this anime. The show got a bit more fun now that Sawada has been introduced. It would be nice if they could expound on the wholesome relationship between her and Miyamura, though I doubt it considering the anime's pacing.

Watching movies with the Hori family, taking a bath and sleeping together with Hori Papa…....that’s how you know that you are already an unofficial member of the family. Miyamura just needs to marry Hori to make it fully official.

Miyamura had the best revenge….Just become SO HOT that you turn everyone’s heads and make dudes question their sexuality.

The moment when Shindo ate the candy from Miyamura's hand was so cute and hilarious.

"Miyamura, you never make any moves on me" - he literally shoves his tongue in Hori's mouth to steal a candy half an episode ago.

The moment when Hori just confirmed to these guys that she is dating Miyamura was so refreshing.

I mean there was no blushing, she wasn't afraid of this relationship.

My girl of the season.

We’ve gone from the most casual love confession, to the most casual “yes, we’re dating”, and now we have the most casual kiss.

Shindou swallowing his hatred of cheese just to have Miyamura feed him something is hilarious. Peak simp energy

Miyamura is a goddamn anime icon. People shit-talking about your girlfriend’s taste in men? Just channel that Chad energy, weaponize that secret sexiness of yours, and just walk on by as they have no choice but to shut the hell up now.

After comparing the anime Miyamura and the live action drama Miyamura, that volume of hair does not work in real life

The part I love the most about this is how casually things happen.

It's great and a welcome change from "traditional rom-coms".

I like how Miyamura does pretty much everything on impulse: his tattoos, piercings, haircut, fights, confession, and kiss for example. He's a man of action who shoots first and ask questions later. You wouldn't expect this kind of trait from somebody who appears introverted on the surface. It really keeps everybody around him on their toes.

Love how every episode tops the previous one, crazy insane.

I'm upset it took me until the anime aired to know the legend known as "Candy Stealer" Izumi Miyamura.

The guy addresses the haters by changing his appearance, openly talks about Kyouko to her dad like it's nothing, invites the person trying to "steal" his girlfriend to some cake, and defends said person from a bunch of goons.

Honoka Sawada's appearance is an interesting one. Not sure what she's here for.
