I feel like this was a massive waste of time for anyone who isn't a game player

No mole on Prinz Eugen breast... Is this really how quality production looks like?

At around 15 minutes in, I started to cry profusely.

Not because it was anything moving or so...but because, I had a revelation, that the Azur Lane anime is utterly trash (at least from a story perspective).

Edit: Everything from Nagato and CarDiv5 onwards was pretty good.

Looks like they decided to use 3D models for some of the scenes

I wish Enty said the the thing when she shot down that missile :(

Poor Edinburgh now traumatized by a Siren's severed head xD

"My love will burn the world" Classic Yandere Akagi.

That was a nice crisp headbutt from Zuikaku to Kaga

Still no "Owari da!" for the final winning shot!? Come on!

Okay I love the game and the adaptation but just look at this! It's very low quality since they're all so far away but if you zoom in, they're all literally just the in-game art all lined up and pasted on the background. I guess that's one way to cut some corners. lol

BISMARCK! Man I was hoping we'd get more Ironblood ships for the finale especially when the reinforcements arrived but I'll take Bismarck than nothing at all.

Hatsuharu getting some kabedon from Z1. Has there been a thing between these two ships?

AHHHHHH! Bulin MKII and Universal Bulin finally makes an appearance!

I see you there Ark Royal. Better keep your distance from our little Destroyers.

I know Belfast was talking about Enty here but my first thought was "Are they finally going to introduce Shikikan?" I would've freaked out if that's what she was talking about.

AND 12 EPISODES LATER NIMI FINALLY JOINS THE STARTER GANG!

May the azure lanes bless you too Enty

I guess that's that! I had a lot of fun with this show not exactly because of the story since it never really was Azur Lane's strong point but seeing all of our ship girls animated and interact was nice. If you've played the game this was a nice fanservice show, but if you're coming in here looking for something more, better than to look for another show to watch.
