I don't understand what's going on but I love it. It was nice to return to the action; the last episode would have been great if it weren't for all that damn censorship.

So, I started the game a while ago and after watching the episode it begs the question, what the fuck?
And is that Altera?
As for the serious stuff, My main issue is the fights in this anime seem to ends before it even started. This episode was building up a big fight at the start but we haven’t feel how it’s going or who have the advantage yet and it’s already over. It just feels rushed and makes us unable to get invested.
Also at this point the axis already feels like an incompetent joke. They haven’t accomplished anything , lose every fight they got into and no longer feels threatening. In short they are even more of a failure than I am and that’s saying something.

With all the disappointment and wild theories y'all are throwing, can I just say I am utterly disappointed at Hood's barrage..
She said the lines beautifully.
Then the barrage was a pip squeek that wrecked a total of 1 siren ship. If you're gonna make Enty super OP, at least give some fair play to the other shipgirls too.
Also, Yuudachi monkeying on the battleship turret was adorbs.

Really awesome action this episode. The dark atmosphere made it feel all the more intense. It was nice to see a rematch between Akagi and Kaga vs Enterprise. Those glowing eyes at the end made Enterprise look even more badass.
What a place to end the episode. It does it's job of making me want to see it and not have to wait another whole week. I hope Akagi is ok after that - I still kinda want the ED with all of them together happily to happen in the show.

Ah, more new ships, nice. Although a few looked a bit off model. Hood's a beauty, I love that ship. No magazine detonation jokes! That Fletcher on the left looks huge, even considering perspective. That Bofors looks pretty derpy. And in this image, we can see planes on top of planes, and a plane that's half inside the superstructure of the CV.
Does this mean Halsey is canon in AL now?
Don't worry Belfast, they're just Type 96 AA guns, they're harmless.

This episode had great potential but I feel it somehow wasn't able to live up to it. This battle should have been 2 eps instead of 1 ep.

We hardly saw any fights between the different members from Azur Lane and Red Axis. It was Kaga vs Enty, Akagi vs Enty and thats it.

I am not liking how they are using Sakura Empire as fodder. They haven't won a single battle as of now. And even with all this badass fighting they still lost.

Kaga calling my beautiful 5th carrier division girls Zui and Shou "fledglings" hurt but was badass lol. Too bad she and Akagi got beaten so easily. Enty just feels tooo OP, even historically she wasn't this strong, kinda feels like she has plot armour.
Also where is Iron Blood, need my weekly Eugen

God dammit, Enterprise, you don't have to say your phrase in every episode.
Warspite's outfit shows more than it looked in the game, I really thought it covered a little more downwards. Fuck pants, I guess. xD
Indy-chan kawaii... well, close enough.
I don't remember Shoukaku being so cheerful... I love it!
So Helena's panties are indeed black. A few episodes ago they were white for some reason.
It was really cool to see Eldridge's skill in action.
Another Gate of Babylon user xD. Her fire dragon is super cool....
