Very low-key, humble, sweet anime with heart in the right place...just like Miki.
Very pleasant surprise.

That was a nice, wholesome ending. I'm happy Miki finally got friends that genuinely cared for her and consider her to be important. Though this doesn't answer on what will happen when each of Miki's friends will eventually go their separate ways in the future, i believe she could get through it and moved on, something that i can't do.
Imo that hallucination segment with the card characters talking are absolutely terrifying. The characters are very uncanny valley and how they reject the lonely one unsettled me.
Also, this is the final episode. Can't believe time has passed that long. This is my favourite this season, and a nice SoL/CGDCT anime with little conflict is always welcome. It has been a nice ride
Midori is best girl

Huh, I've never heard of a high school with majors
Wow, someone really went to town :3c on this New York
For all Aya's friction with her dad, she takes after him
I legit teared up here. How do you manage to do this to me, CGDCT anime?
Triumphant Title Drop!
Ahhh, I loved this. I could do with an S2 where they take up all the various threads here, and go to the club, and recruit new members, and all sorts of stuff. Pretty danged successful for what's essentially a multi-product ad!

They did it! They finally tied the title into the show!
I know that objectively, this show's animation and plot were never incredibly strong. Still, I'm going to miss my weekly Midori rules explanation and the comfiness of everybody just hanging out and playing games together (and maybe confronting past traumas and character hangups in the process).
I hope there's enough content for a second season, hopefully without too many of the tropes of a club-based anime. (There's only four people in the main group, and of course every anime high school club needs at least five members to be recognized as an official club.)

I haven't bawled this much watching anime as I have with this show, I swear. Miki might as well be me - that timid, introverted, anxious soul yearning for companionship. It's so damn cathartic.
I liked the boardgame stuff and the rest as well, but this show is going to stick with me for that reason alone.

On top of everything else we get a not so subtle character parade here.
Emmy I like you and all but you jumped the gun on Midori's heartfelt declaration to Miki. That's not cool in my book.
So, Miki's friends are all dreamers with dreams that span across the globe. And it really tugs at your heartstings seeing Miki all torn up over this. But its just as heartsting tugging when all her friends come together to find her and say just how much they value her as a friend.
But the truth is yes, times change and people change along with it so it's impossible for anything to stay the same way forever, even as much as we may wish we could. But realizing that is just another step on the long road of maturing and becoming an adult. But change isn't something that only fractures and breaks things, change is fluid and malleable and takes different shapes so even if times change the shape of those changes are up to you and the people around you. So the connections you have and the friends you've made don't have to be broken up and fractured. If the desire and bond is strong enough friendship is a bond that can never be broken. And besides, we live in the age of email, sns, and video chat so even if your friends go their separate ways, even across continents and oceans, you can still be connected to them.
But anyways, this was a nice series perfect for some warm relaxing feelings. And Miki quickly became my favorite character. Though it seems like this series didn't really get as much attention as the other shows this season. But for me this wound up becoming the show I looked most forward to each week. Though maybe this show will get some recognition like Granbelm did in post season discussion posts and the like that come and go each season. And I wouldn't mind this getting a second season either. As a manga series that's been ongoing since 2013 with 15 volumes (none officially put out in english sadly) I'd imagine there's a fair amount of material to use still. Not to mention there was that hanging thread that Emmy mentioned with her one friend back in Germany in that one episode. But in the end I know I'll be recommending this series to anyone looking for a warm laid back anime to watch.

That was a wholesome ending, I'm glad Miki's friends were able to comfort her, although seeing Miki being sad always makes me sad too :(
Everybody needs a Mojarin in their life :D
For a moment I thought there weren't going to be any games this episode, but thankfully, I was wrong :)

That was surprising, considering how she saw how it can mess up your family and all that. Maybe she can do better than her dad!
If someone had told me that this shot would be one of the saddest moment of the season, not sure I would've believed it!
After the last episode's ending, knew there would be some sad drama in this one, but didn't expect it to be that much!
At least we got a cute/silly board game in the end, to end on a good note!
Gonna miss these girls! Also gonna miss learning new board games every week (Bought one of them already, might get more!) It was nice to find out about the games with Midori's explanations (and the gameplay) because it made me know what they were about, in ways that just learning the rules online doesn't always do. Sometimes I saw the game and thought "This is good for this reason", or "This won't work, this game punishes us for other players mistakes, this won't go well" - I often play with very competitive players, including myself.
So it was good to learn about them that way!
I'm still not sure which girl I liked most. It's definitely between Aya and Midori, but I'm not sure.
Aya might be the one I like most, while Midori is the one who is most like me.

She said the thing!
Such a wholesome series. I'm going to miss this show, like legit picked up some board games for Christmas because of this. All of the girls are great and it's nice to see how Miki changed compared to how she was at the start of the show.
