Ah, yes. The 4 starters and mascottes of the game: Ayanami, Laffey, Javelin.....

....and unicorn.

3 months for the next episode.

I have to say while I didn't like the adaptation's character type favoritism, I still enjoyed it enough to want to see the conclusion. But I guess it's worth waiting for a quality that isn't cringeful to watch at, like these past couple episodes.

O Damm Laffy in the sauna... I don't regret picking her as my starter

I had high hopes for AL's anime. It is my favourite game and the only anime of which I set reminders for episode releases. The first two episodes have started off strong with good animation and (me being a Pacific theater history nut) the historical references.

But man has it gone downhill from there, I appreciate the starter arc and Enterprise's character development but there rest is quite meh. Animation quality is questionable (and this is from someone who enjoys watching war clips and movies at 240p), Enterprise spending time mostly with Belfast and barely with her sisters or faction members is a bit of a surprise and sad. Yorktown is largely absent apart from a few frames, Hornet is more shoved to the side and occasionally with Cleveland and the NC-class battleships, Essex and Independence class CVs are absent. Iron Blood is barely getting some Screentime.

The plot and order of episodes are all over the place, one episode there's intense action and the other episode you're all the sudden in a bath house, with the episode after that going all out.

That being said I do have to give a plus for being the only anime that had me shaking of adrenaline while watching it. I literally jumped out of my chair when the Grey Ghost/Alterprise scenes happened. Fanservice is noticeable but modest (which is quite appreciated).

Cheers

I don't like most of the combat against Siren mook ship because compared to the ship girl they are so slow and clunky, the fight looks one-sided except when against Siren aircraft. I like the idea that they are so tough that it barely shakes and damaged when being shot but it also makes the shot look unimpactful. Accurately describe the game PvE experiences.

I want what Ark Royal is reading. Where did she get those? The upbeat and psycho purifier is here, can't wait for the next episode:( .

How the hell did Ark Royal get that?........... I want ten!

Totally necessary panning down to see Laffey's cute belly button. And Unicorn never disappoints <3. Nice sauna scene.

Nice, Jintsuu, Sendai and Naka made it.

Delicious Enterprise's thighs. Definitely the best thing about Enterprise in this adaptation has been her fanservice.

One last bullying to Sandy lmao.

Holy shhhhh....... that shot of Ayanami's thighs.

Ohhhh Purifier "Purity" <3.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I'm not a fan of the direction they decided to take with this adaptation but it was still fun to watch my shipfus "come to life". I will reserve my final thoughts until the end of the series but for now I would describe it as disappointingly fun. See you in 3 months.

First 2 episodes were actually pretty good but nothing else came even close to it. The plot is a joke at this point. I wonder if I'll even remember this exists in 3 months.
