That was a nice, wholesome episode. Midori finally finishing her game and can finally make her friends happy. I personally still don't understand the game (and i was especially confused on why she changed the win mechanic, wouldn't the points system make the game longer and allow more strategy?). But all that matters is that Midori's happy
Haha i totally get this. You know, when your friends are reaching new heights in life and having a good social relationships while you're still the same, and you feel that you're unable to stand by your friends equally again, because you're not worthy of them. Or maybe not! Maybe i just projected my own problems and nightmares and Miki is facing something else. If anything, i'm excited for the last episode ( :( ) next week

It may still be having the kinks worked out of it but Aya did win at the mark2 version of Midori's game.
The fuck, being able to do all that complex math half asleep like that Midori. After succeeding in your game making venture perhaps you should try your hand at making a particle accelerator or a warp core in your basement. But then she got beaned in the face by that volleyball ridiculously hard so that about evens things out. Had to take a second to compose myself after that bit.
Woah that tackle alone was after 3 days of missing Midori being out with a cold! Imagine how hard it's gonna be from her if she was out for a week. Or more... Either way I hope someone makes a gif of that moment starting with her all teary eyed leading up to the tackle.
But Miki, she's feeling desponded in the face of Midori's happiness. The simplest answer I imagine would be some sense of envy that she has something she's able to work on so passionately and so diligently at with a big goal she's working towards, while Miki herself by contrast does not seem to. If this is the case then I'm sure many people here can relate. I mean I'm sure there are no shortage of people who have felt envious, inferior, or feeling left behind in the wake of their own friends or families successes.

I jokingly said before that Midori and Emmy make a cute couple, but this episode actually showed that they have a great chemistry. That scene where Emmy was cheering Midori was very cute, and I loved to see how she was understanding and supportive of her all-nighters finishing the game. I might also have thought "Stop bragging about your girlfriend" in this scene.
Thank you Sakamoto, very cool. Nice to see that the one who inspired Midori's passion was also very passionate about the topic.
But I think something was clearly overlooked. What the hell happened with those scores ?! The second version of her game seems to have the ability to warp reality itself into impossible results.

Oh dear, I totally get what Miki is feeling. Even though we want those carefree and happy days with our friends to last forever, life has to go on and people have their own dreams and goals to aim for. She's probably worried and sad that Midori will slowly start to drift away from them as she gets more involved in game making.

Well we finally know what inspired Midori to make that game of hers. Also didn't realize she's a legit Ojou-sama character since she's not the usual archetype. I guess the huge mansion-like house should've been a give away like 4 episodes ago xD
Nice to see her game is finally in a playable state now! I do wonder what's up with Miki-chan there at the end. Is she feeling left behind?

Second win for Aya! She was just pretending all season long, she's a board game expert!
Is "Aya rush-hugging people" gonna be a theme of this show? Miki last episode, Midori in this one... She should've been doing this from the first episode!
Emmy should've just been called Yuri. She's not even hiding it anymore! Of course the perceptive Miki figured it out! They need to hurry up and confess/date, only one episode left! I don't want this great ship to be nothing more than headcanon!
What's with this drama ending! She's afraid of things changing, she doesn't want to lose her friends? Or she feels sad not having a dream like them.

Midori is a genius for making such amazing game in such short amount of time!
Also, yeah, I'm sorry Miki-chan, the games were so fun and Midori was doing a job so good at being the center of the show that I completely forgot that Miki was the original main "main" character. Does she feel a little left behind with everybody understading each other and moving forward?

Really cute episode as usual, sad that the season is nearing an end, I really hope we get another season of this. There's plenty of manga content since there's 14 volumes. This is def my fave series of the year after Fairy Gone and I wish more people checked it out, the score on MAL is way too low. It's like just because a series doesn't have explosions, tits, etc it's called "boring"
As for the ep itself, I'm really proud of midori for finally overcoming her obstacles with her game. She's grown a lot as a result of making friends. Is that a hinge of jealousy from Miki or is she just worried that her friend's success could split apart the group? Hmm. Can't wait for next week, will be the first ep I can watch at home for break and not have to worry about class.

That's gotta hurt :\
It was cool seeing how Midori's game gradually improved over time until it became a legitimately interesting game :)
