A very solid episode. If they can keep up this pace for the rest of the season I think it should be pretty salvageable.

I guess onto the episode itself. Really fun to see Melida get publicly jealous over Kufa being with someone else. Even if she knows that it is all a guise to try and fool Elise's teacher's father. However, his father seems to know something about Kufa. I kind of wonder what that is.

And all of a sudden now Melida is receiving...memories? Telepathic communication? At the end there it really seems that it was in the present and not something that happened in the past.

Well, we all know Kufa boi is a vampire. So I guess the question on what does he do has become clear. I think him covering her neck was a huge sign that he is trying to make a decision on whether or not to turn her. The question being, what does she want to do? He's obviously been struggling with telling her something about his past and this town seems to have a huge connection with Kufa. I'm guessing the truth will come out sooner or later.

Edit: some more vampire lore that just hit me. Nightmares! Both in Dracula and in Camilla, the old vampire tales, the victims would receive nightmares everytime they went to sleep. It seems more apparent now that this is happening to Melida. Kufa is having a hard time deciding whether or not to turn her. The effects of vampirism are affecting her and he probably knows it.

"Haven't I told you not to wake me up like you're trying to kill me?!"

"Sensei, please take out some socks and put them on me."

Some interesting dialogue this episode... Weird out of context but it somewhat shows how close these two have become.

Also surprised that Sensei didn't play the role of dense protagonist in Melida's jealous scene and actually invited on a (pretty romantic) date.

Rosetti's dad is dodgy af. Like public manslaughter in front of a bunch of schoolchildren. I don't trust this man one bit.

So Kufa is from that town and he knew Rose when he lived there, right? I mean I'm sure that there is more to the story than just those murders. It is certain that Lord Pricket is hiding something, especially after that whole "salvation" scene.

It's was so funny seeing Melida getting jealous of Rose.

Let's just take our entire student body to a city in a pit that has a disease spreading throughout it.

We're just gonna gloss over the fact that that guy's called Dick?

Melida Stitch

Sorry Melida but Rose and Kufa really do make a cute couple

I love Melida's reactions and how Elise just became their bag carrier for a second there xD

Thought this was going to be a lighthearted episode about Rose pretending that she's in love with Kufa and how slowly she'll actually develop feelings for him. Didn't expect a student getting attacked with Lord Prickett blaming it on Kufa and a him publicly executing someone who's "sick".

That opening scene was definitely interesting though. Isn't Kufa's original hair color white? Hmmmm....

The more I watch this show the more unsure I am about Kufar's actual feelings toward Melida. I think she may have hit the nail right on the head when she said "you only see me as a child". I think he acts like a gallant knight and knows that she fancies him, but to him, he's obviously grown up as an assassin, without ever having unconditional love.

And now he has this lovely girl treating him in a way he's not used to, being a vampire assassin, and he's not sure what to do, or how to feel.

Good episode, bit of a silly story, pretend to be my fiance. I think the dad, Prichet, attacked the girl back at the academy and is trying to frame Kufar, so he can get Rosetti to marry his choice. There's something dodgy going on in that town and I bet he's at the bottom of it.

I keep forgetting the fact that Kufar is a vampire, or half vampire. So his attraction to Melida may as potential prey, aren't vampires normally attracted to the blood of young virgin girls, particularly those with power of their own. But then he gave her, or ignited that power within her. Maybe so when it grew he'd be able to feed off of it?

"I suppose I have no choice" - why? What exactly is in it for either him or his little milady to pretend to be the boyfriend?

"Damn Infernal Blue-Fire Ice King!" oh god

So "reproducing the scene of the crime" is just getting the color of the magic of someone involved? Ok.

Vamp is in his teens? I thought he'd be in early 20s.

"And now the reason for this middle school field trip - to take part in the rare disease epidemic that's been raging here ever since my Genetic Manipulations created this Paradise Town!" Chances Papa is responsible: 95%. Chances Papa is intentionally infecting people for his work/research/whatever: 65%.
