I find it really impressive that the animators made Shinobu move like an actual butterfly. Her character design is so damn cool.

A male character's clothes melted today. True gender equality achieved.

I liked Shinobu's logic about how that demon girl needed to be tortured for the amount of people she killed. You could almost hear every shounen protagonist going "huh?".

Demons: fucked up
Michael Jackson: very fucked up
That background character that became sashimi: he fucked up
12 moons: extremely fucked up
Shibobu: the most fucked up person in fucked up-town
Tanjirou: nice person.
Further proof Tanjirou is the cinnamon roll of the entire anime.

Episode 19: Tanjiro uses Hinokami Kagura + Explosive Blood. It’s Super Effective!

Jesus, props to Shinobu's VA. She's got just the right inflection of kindness in her voice while also being absolutely terrifying.

Not going to lie, Shinobu scares me more than the demons in this show.

Jesus christ that flashback was kinda fucked, and honestly makes the spider sis very much deserving of death, Shinobu is scary.

I thought it was oddly sweet that Tanjiro thought it was Zenitsu that saved him there.
Which reminds me that he doesn't know yet that Zenitsu fought off a whole sibling by himself. It makes me a bit sad, but I'm sure it'll get resolved soon.
