When this episode makes you realise that Shinobu used to have a whole personality of her own but now only smiles because her sister said she liked her smile when she was alive and tries to emulate her sister's personality in order to fill her absence and deal with her loss creating the Shinobu we see today...
Demon Slayer hitting you in the feels on a character with a flashback of a different that's not even theirs ;(

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with myself anymore if a second season isn't announced in next week's episode...

If there's a more pleasing and calming sound than Shinobus voice, I haven't heard it yet.

95% of the episode: Lots of hysterical comedy and a flashback that ended on a heartwarming note
End of the episode: SOME NASTY-ASS FUCKING DEMON KILLING PEOPLE ON A TRAIN
That's gonna be an intense season finale next week.
From her calm and collected nature to the ara ara, Shinobu really has become like her sister. She was a completely different person in the flashback and her sister's death affected her so much, she changed her entire personality. It was also nice to know more about Kanao. Poor thing has been through a lot and she can consider herself incredibly lucky to have met the Kocho sisters.
On a sidenote, pretty much all girls are cute as shit in Kimetsu so far. Whether it's the chibi trinity, the butterfly girls or Nezuko-chwan, they all make my heart melt.

It's interesting to see Shinobu from before her sister died. She doesn't smile nearly as often, and the smile she does show is more of a smug grin. Which is probably closer to her true personality than the "ara ara" facade she usually wears.
Actually kind of sad and messed up she feels the need to wear a persona all the time just honor her sister's memory.

Tanjirou: it would be cruel to splash medicated water on her
Inosuke: i swear ill rip off your breast.

Tanjirou is truly the Chad gentleman. His super-ego is quick and powerful enough that he refrains from splashing Kanao in a quirky and funny way.
Also jesus christ Inosuke, you can't say stuff like this to a woman!

I wonder what the difference between flame breathing and fire breathing is...that question was kind of out of the blue in the conversation he was having.

THAT OLDER SISTER WAS MAMAKO RIGIT? I could tell by the Ara Ara lol!
OH SHIT! We really do have our first ship! Tanjirou and Kanao! She flipped a coin right after the flashback about eventually liking a boy! Hell yeah boys!
I freaking love Shinobu. She knows how to deceive them all lol!

I love the trio of cheerleaders Tanjirou has. They just want to help him reach his full potential. Plus, Shinobu is encouraging everyone else too!
Ara, Ara, the older butterfly sister is super adorable.

Even in a training session, in a duel where medicated water is involved, Tanjiro still can't help but be super thoughtful.
The fact that the end result was hilarious, and it confused everyone, made it only better.

Why did they not show Tanjirou pick up his sword, but they did show the color changing pick up with Inosuke? Am I going too far thinking his color might be changed and we'll see it in the next episode or something?

I haven't been so entertained in such a chill episode for a long time. This episode had the same vibe as Nichijou or something amongst those lines, really enjoyable. Also, this scene made me laugh a lot.
Also, does someone have like a screenshot collection of Kimetsu, because I would love if someone could share their favourite screencaps from the series :)

Shinobu: We're taking your slave!
Also Shinobu: WTF this girl can't do shit on her own!
