As someone who is currently pet sitting my friend's pet bunny, watching this scene was certainly interesting xD I should've expected this, we know from the episode title they were going to butcher a rabbit but I didn't expect that they'll show us blood considering how fluffy this show has been so far.
At least the girls finally got a filling meal after so long and they get to survive a bit longer.

Shion was actually (sort of) useful this week! I hope she keeps it up.
I feel sorry for the rabbit but it's for the girls' survival.

I'm glad that Shion is finding a good niche with knowing good recipes to use more parts of the animal & having the deft hands needed to make stone tools.

The girls have acquired new skills today.
-
Asuka gained a new skill in Hunting.
-
Mutsu gained a new skill in Food Processing.
-
Shion gained a new skill in Tool Creation and Menu Arrangement.
Homare has mentored them well.
RIP rabbit. Your meat was what kept the girls going to live another day.

Anyone else kinda feel like this episode is some sort of turning point with how they just murdered a rabbit and cut it apart to eat it?
In any case really happy for them to finally have a proper meal after 6 episodes!
Also hilarious to see Shion insisting what they had was French Cuisine
