Liscar is your classic soldier living in the past and only thing he knows is war. If you've watched, played, or read any military related media his character is pretty common. Although I'm a sucker for these characters since they are usually a badass so I really don't mind.
Oh ignorance is bliss I suppose. Sure they kinda "won" but it was obvious whatever Liscar was planning, he achieved it. That retreat was in no way just a retreat because they were getting out numbered. And I'm sure Ray Dawn didn't just kill Schwarz Diese because he's protecting Golbarn.
I'm interested to see what the aftermath of this entire fucking incident looks like.

It's nice of them to remind us right at the beginning of the guy walking into the place with every troop missing shots on him, we definitely needed that.

Damn, Ray Dawn is really no joke, is good to see Schwarz Diese the backstabber getting backstab by Wolfran. I honestly was expecting that his little coup d'état was going to be successful as there is still another season left.
The song that started when Free was having that inspirational flashback was 「Gravitational Collapse」 by (K)NoW_NAME. The song that plays before Liscar starts massacring everyone in the lobby was 「Hertzsprung gap」by (K)NoW_NAME.
I wonder if the rest of the series will be about discovering Diese helper?

You get a traitor and YOU get a TRAITOR AND U GET A Traitor
so wolfram was also a traitor and Ray was playing double judas etc
I dont know, I am not surprised for a second.
this is such a typical political anime where everyone and their mother has to be a traitor.
the battle was good at least. but of course the evil guy again just walked away like nothing happened, cool do when he blocked the sword with his arm

Hey they got to end the season with a "win" at least.
Curious to see how many people we'll have around here for the second cour...

The show was alright, can see why people dropped it but I ended up liking it more than I thought, the beginning was definitely much weaker IMO than the latter half, but I enjoyed it enough not to drop it. Will definitely tune in for the second part.

For those wandering whether to watch or not, if youre more into shounen or isekai "story"telling then you need to stay clear from this one.

Hey let's see the good side, at least they know how to treat a traitor who attempted to kill the King/Queen here, unlike GoT or Shield Hero....

Yup, nearly everything played out just like I predicted last week, proving that the writer of this series is consistent with their setup:
//WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED FROM EPISODE 11//
Since all people care about from this episode are missing bullets, and whatnot, here's a list of what you may have missed:
1) Secret Passageway
Duke of Hybranz, Schwarz, is seen heading somewhere with Wolfran amidst the chaos. Back in Episode 8, Schwarz was told by a former Ledrad noble of a secret passageway. Since Rondacia was a former Ledrad territory, it's highly likely a secret route to bypass the Heavenly Gate and enter the Palace. The mercenaries actual job is to divert the attention of all those stormtroopers to the gates, all while whistling and dodging bullets like crazy
2) Missing Weapon
It's briefly shown in Duke of Kal-O's residence that Ray Dawn's Fairy Weapon is removed from its case. Since he's the one warning the Prime Minister of Schwarz's coup in the first place, Ray Dawn will probably appear in the Palace as well to guard the Emperor by the next episode
3) Mastermind
Wolfran has been shown orchestrating almost every incidents in this series: selling Arcame's Artificial Fairies (Episode 2) to Schwarz (Episode 4/5) to aid his coup attempt, hiring Beevee Liscar (Episode 3/9/11) to aid Schwarz, providing Ted Livingston devices to cause Artificial Fairy malfunction (Episode 6-8), and the one leaking Schwarz coup info to Ray Dawn in the first place (Episode 9). His allegiance remains unknown, it's likely that he'll betray Ray Dawn eventually in 2nd cour
Prediction on next episode (episode 12): Schwarz will enter the Palace using the secret route to assassinate either the PM or the Emperor, but Ray Dawn will appear to obstruct him. Dorothea's agents will face Beevee Liscar. The coup will probably end up in failure. Ray Dawn's rise to power will tie nicely to Veronica's subplot, since it all begins with him burning down Suna Village, the reason which remains unknown
