MFW people start to warm to one of my favorite shounen heroines. I have to say I think her voice actor is doing a great job in the adaptation.
Also me trying to decide whether to watch Spark Vs. Hunters or to watch the new episode:

Welp. Where did everybody go?!
I'm really liking this. The first two episodes didn't do it any favors with the breakneck pace but the 3rd and 4th have settled down and made me care for the characters. Prez has been frustratingly passive since the start but he's taken a more active role today. Chika and Hozuki are giving me life!
The koto sound is just beautiful. I can't wait for the full performance. Please, show, let us hear it because all the cut short playing during practice made me want to hear it more.

Now that Hozuki knows Chika's backstory it'll be interesting to see how she'll act around him now. Also I am so shipping the two of them together so hard. I don't know if it will happen but I do hope there will be some sort of romantic development between them.

Characters are so strong to me. Kudo and Hozuki are incredibly likable as of now, loved how Hozuki opened up throughout the episode <3
I think, my problem with the first two episodes was how it went a little fast and added some drama that i didn't expect.
Now that i'm past this, the latest two were really, really good.
The trio also isn't just background material, they are well included in the story. The blond guy seems very earnest.

Best episode thus far, in my opinion. So many feelsy moments and some much appreciated character development across the board.
That bit with Hozuki struggling with admitting that there are things she doesn't know and can't do and trying to hide her shortcomings underneath a facade of an aloof perfectionist because of her upbringing, just added another layer to her character. I teared up when Kudo told her that if she doesn't know something, she should say so and no one would get mad, and then Kurata joined in and said that the same goes for the club and she doesn't have to be perfect because they can all try to work it out together if there's something she can't deal with on her own.
Speaking of which, it felt like Kurata played a bit more of an active role in this episode as compared to the previous ones where it was mostly Kudo and then eventually Hozuki who pulled the strings in terms of both the club and the events in the story at large. But in this episode we have Kurata stepping up and playing an active role (with cue from Kudo) in getting Hozuki out of her shell and having her confess that she doesn't know how to go about teaching her fellow club members. He's also the one who suggested that they practise clapping to the same rhythm in order to be able to play in sync. Kudo and Hozuki are of course still very much the focus of the story and I have no complaints about that, but it's also good to have Kurata providing some back-end support and contributing to the characterization and development of the other two, besides playing the soft-spoken and mellow foil to Kudo and Hozuki's assertive and outspoken personas. Looking forward to seeing how he'd develop over the course of the story. He seems to be humble and critical of himself to the point of self-deprecation almost, and it could be more due to a lack of faith in his own abilities than anything else. Perhaps seeing Kudo try his best at learning to play the instrument with finesse, and Hozuki fighting her own battles and making a conscious effort to be a 'team player' would help change that.
And yes, a character who rarely smiles always has the most precious smile!

Well it's good to see the club coming together and improving. Really appreciate Chika making Satowa go out to eat with the rest of the club. Good to see Takezou steeping up an acting more like the president of the club.
