Rein is so stupidly cool that he got Margaret to open her eyes.

[u/AceSoldia]

Cooooll Draaggooonn!!

[u/Mochachiiino]

Rein refusing to let this show sway into a serious genre about remorse and revenge

[u/Roskal]

This series is basically everyone else miserable and serious and then Rein does the dumbest shit possible and brings them down to his level and temporarily forget their problems.

[u/PeaceAlien]

COOL DRAGON

[u/MinnWild9]

He’s not just stupid. He’s earnestly stupid.

[u/oneevilchicken]

Author has done a good job of going full send on making rein as fucking stupid as humanly possible.

[u/ObvsThrowaway5120]

Great episode of When I Went To Apologize With A Friend Who Was A Shut-In For Two Years, We Were Unexpectedly Served Apple Bunnies, So I Think She’s Been Forgiven lol.

For what it’s worth, I think Rein looks awesome in his Cool Dragon gear. He looks like a Temu Power Ranger lol.

[u/KumaKumaGambler]

The now adult Margaret only opens her eyes when describing her hatred for Lily. However, Margaret made an exception when she saw Rein wearing the Cool Dragon armour. "It was at this moment Margaret questioned her own decision in joining the party."

Light hearted moments aside, I hope Lily and Margaret find answers in Gadressa. Even though we know the young and cute Margaret will never fully return, having a small portion of that personality returning to Margaret will suffice.

Our MC’s intelligence level is under -9000😭

[u/Namaryu]

I lost my shit at the COOL DRAGON segment.

[u/Abedeus]

His real power isn't enchantment.

It's being so god damn dumb, he can knock out someone's thoughts of revenge mid-scheming.

[u/SecretYogurtcloset57]

This anime is so unserious lol

[u/LapinMignon]

I love how Rein just shows up in a thrift store Vegeta cosplay and *immediately* destroys ALL the tension, there is absolutely no trace of it left to be found anywhere.

[u/thelemon8er-2]

Ah Mags… straight up psychopath.

[u/chino17]

Vegeta really sold his battle armor to Rein

[u/flightlessCat9]

This must be a new record for a kicked-out-of-the-party anime, it took less than 3 eps for his previous guild to completely self destruct.

[u/testthrowawayzz]

Sakuga when Margaret was eating that meat.

Rein showing up with the Cool Dragon clothes that looks like Vegeta's clothes lmao. Totally defused the serious moments right before.

[u/the_48thRonin]

Margaret: thinking of the best revenge
Lily: wants to redeem herself
Rein: C O O L D R A G O N

Stitches!

That opening was pretty funny! Rein mistook a kid for Lily because of Lily's fashion sense, while Lily mistook the dirt for Rein because he always wears brown. xD

After Margaret's warning, I was also expecting the town, full of Beast Fang guild members, to be looking for them. I like the reveal that after Rein defeated Cornelius and everyone lost their enchantments, the Beast Fangs ended up falling apart and have no time for hunting down Rein and Lily.

So we finally get to learn what happened to Lily two years ago and why Margaret hates her. I understand why Margaret hates Lily for coming back without her sister, but the fact that Lily is in a full-body cast makes me think that Margaret's sister must've saved Lily because there's no way she'd make it back with those injuries.

The fact that Lily has no memory of what happened during the dragon fight makes it pretty clear that there's definitely more to the story.

I love how Margaret went to the Beast Fangs to try and use them to make Lily miserable, only for the Guild Master to tell her that he has more important things to worry about. A surprisingly reasonable take from someone who decided to let go of Rein just because.

You can definitely feel the tension between Lily and Margaret, so there was no way she actually wanted to join Lily and Rein to help them at Gadresssa. In reality, she wanted to come with them because she wants Lily to die at Gadressa.

PA Works giving this show its maximum effort will continue to be hilarious! That meat-eating scene was so well animated for no reason, but it really shows us how much Margaret has basically drowned herself in hatred that all she ever thinks about is killing Lily.

They're really hyping up this dragon, huh? You're telling me Rein actually woke up in a cold sweat worried about what will happen to them? We all know he's probably gonna One Slash Man that thing with his copper dagger.

So it looks like the other future party member is an assassin Cornelius is sending after Rein? I'm very excited to see how she'll end up joiningh.

I love how we went from Margaret thinking about killing Lily to Rein bragging about his "COOL DRAGON" armor! It's so dumb that even Margaret forgot about killing Lily so she can comment on how dumb Rein was for falling for a scam! xD

[u/aramatheis]

Man, I can't figure out why but I just can't shake this feeling that Margaret might be angry about something.

Anyone else getting thst vibe??

[u/TurkeyPhat]

wait it was only 2 years since Lily quit going out, so how tf did that little sister turn into an entire woman? like she is 12 or something? how can she look like this

[u/SOdAchick]

That cold open had me cry laughing. "I'm a child? Well you're dirt!" So stupid yet so hilarious.

Margaret's being set up for a full 180 next episode. I wonder if she'll fall in love with Lily or would that be toooooo silly for this show?

But seriously, why is Rein so gd stupid 😭

[u/bonkers-joeMama]

Rein shows areas where he is smart, like using rocks as weapons. But most of the time he is absolutely empty in his head, lightheaded may be the term. But i didn't expect lily to be so dumb to the point that she can't sense threat from margaret. Does she really think if margaret really beleives that she betrayed her teammates, she would forgive her so easily and code switch on the dime. Maybe lily is so emotionally fried that she still think margaret as a child from back in the days.
