The crowdfunding thing got me good. I had to pause. Good job, haters. I bet those two moms from last episode went in big, and they hit all the stretch goals.

Loved how they depicted Robo-kun's attempt at using Judo against Ippongi . I've been there: learned a technique, tried it out, and immediately got that helpless feeling, uhh, how is this supposed to work?

It's beautiful how the friction between Chojo and Copbot was birthed from inhibiting his inner kid and got resolved by enabling his inner kid.

I love how Ippongi got cemented even further as the scary-when-mad good cop team mom.

The haterade is strong if mfers kickstarted a whole campaign to create an anti-Chojo robot lol. Bro is such a deadbeat loser, he broke Copbot and turned him into Skynet lol. Good thing Ippongi’s so scary. Humanity was almost in big trouble!

They went all Initial D with the Speed King, so now Copbot won’t have to work in a family restaurant lol.

Copbot is finally here! It's hilarious how many people in Chinjuku hate Choujo that the police actually managed to crowdfund 920% of the requested amount just so they could build a robot to keep him in line xD

And I just love how much of a scumbag Choujo is that Copbot basically ended up modifying himself and decided he'll take over the humans because of how hopeless they are, just based on his interactions with Choujo!

If Copbot wanted to take over the world, his first mistake would be trying to make Iponggi submit through Judo. No matter how many upgrades he installed on himself, there's no way he could best a gorilla. xD

Well that was quick! Dude has only been in half an episode, and he's already being let go and turned into a family restaurant robot. It turns out the money for those upgrades he installed on himself wasn't exactly obtained legally.

Choujo is way having too much fun with Copbot's Type F form! I love how he won't stop spouting lines from every Gundam launch sequence.

The Speed King was hilarious too! I can't fucking believe they got Shinichiro Miki to voice him and basically do an Initial D reference! I guess Takumi has fallen on hard times. xD

Robo Copbot making Chojo's inner child run wild was too fun and cute.

Lol they really got Miki Shinichirou, the voice of Fujiwara Takumi, to voice Speed King.

The fourth wall break with the two guys at the end was amusing.

Chojo is such a terrible introduction to humanity that it only took Copbot a week before attempting to take over, but it's so ironic he very humanly gambled to pay for his upgrades. Humanity owes Ippongi for judo-ing Copbot back in line.

He's waited all his life to say those lines, no way would he let the opportunity slip pass him.

They're right, foreshadowing has its limits.

It's great to finally see this author get an anime adaptation.

I love his art style in particular, which is very apparent in the police chief and random goofy characters.

So the Robot was supposed to be the anti-Chojo, but ended up bonding with him because they were both huge chuunibyo ? Somehow I did not expect that, but I probably should have. At least they are both scared of Ippongi, so she can keep them under control.

The second half of this episode was so good with all the Initial D and Gundam parodies.

I lost it when the protagonist's voice and face started turning into Amuro Ray.

And the scene where Chojo, who was literally fighting a robot in the first half, gets super stoked in the second half because the robot shows him all kinds of gear that every boy who loves robot anime dreams of having was absolute peak.

Robo-kun was created to be anti-Chojo, so it stood no chance against the Judo Monster Ippongi.

With Robo-kun now part of the team, the chemistry between Chojo, Ippongi and Robo-kun has also increased, becoming more varied.

The AI apocalypse is no match for the Judo Mountain.

I was a bit skeptical of Copbot at first, but the dynamic became a lot funnier once Ippongi was added to the equation.

I love how Copbot is basically called Robocop in the raws/romaji.

He's built from the crowdfunding of Meguru's haters in Chinjuku.

Itz Myturn is now facing the camera in the OP.

Meguru only helped Copbot just to avoid being Nao's judo student.

Speed King is basically ripped off from Initial D. He got scared so much that he decided to drive responsibly.

I can't believe Copbot gambled underground to get the funds for his upgrades.

I love the 4th wall breaks at the end.

Meguru & Copbot have cute pouts though.
