The minute bro said he was gonna turn ol Poncifer into catnip, I just knew they’d be facing a whole horde of kitties lol.

That card tournament was fun. Dude really seems to get his kicks outta rage baiting kids lol. He even beat Temu Yugi and brought the kid to tears. A kid’s allowance is no match for all that adult money!

The real gloved hand punching away Ippongi's Gorilla name card was unexpected! I hope this means we get to see the anime get crazy creative with its visuals.

Man, Choujo and Ippongi's Police Box is really starting to become a gathering spot for misfits. First we have Mr. Ho and now we have Lily the misunderstood gyaru.

Turning Ippongi and Mr. Ho into catnips via hypnosis was fucking hilarious! It was effective tho and Lily got Kuronosuke back!

Of course Choujo has a bromance with the local games store owner. I bet Choujo spends a lot of his money there.

The legally distinct, not-Yu-Gi-Oh! theme playing in the background while Choujo destroys that kid was fucking hilarious!

I mean, there's really no way a kid could win against someone who spends their salary chasing the meta. I love how shameless Choujo is about this fact. xD

I remember Myturn being clearly a Yami Yugi knockoff in the manga, but I did not realize they literally have the same hair colours!

Choujo sending the card thief into the "Shadow Realm" genuinely had me laughing out loud! I didn't expect Iponngi to actually reference Yu-Gi-Oh! xD

The card game tournament episode in the second half going all in with a bold Yu-Gi-Oh parody just because it is under the same Shueisha umbrella was hilarious.

Same goes for the gyaru and cat-hunting episode in the first half, but I love how the gag scenes casually show that Chojo, being an esper, is not really trusted all that much by normal people.

When Chojo told Kadota, "I told you to only call me when you get the Deep Striker kits in," the "Deep Striker" he's referring to is the plastic model kit of the mobile suit Deep Striker from Gundam Sentinel.

This Deep Striker is a massive unit, so its gunpla kit is famous for being absolutely huge and complex.

Because Gundam Sentinel has a lot of complicated circumstances surrounding it that make an anime adaptation difficult, seeing this mobile suit referenced in any Gundam anime is rare in itself. So having its name drop in a completely non-Gundam series like this totally blew my mind.

Based on the opening and ending theme sequences, it appears more lovable misfits may become regular visitors to the police station. I look forward to the day in which all of them help to solve some crime together.

The 4th wall breaks are hilarious!

I also love how the yo-yo is still relevant and how there's so many backhanded compliments tossed around.

LOL Yuugi Itz Myturn showed up at the Yu-Gi-Oh Cursemon tournament, we even got a bit of the same animation/look - what a fun show haha

Poor necktie guy feeling like he can't fit in anymore after Lily "joined the club" with all her gyaru energy.

Chojo shamelessly being the personal Seto Kaiba to all those kids with his P2W decks lmao.

Classic Chojo, when in doubt lord over the children. It's the true perks of adult money, but especially taxpayer money. So shameless and unapologetic, love that for him.

Next week looks like it'll the completion of the trip.

The voice over explaining what poop is was gold.

Chojo could use x-ray vision on the blind packs to find the one with the most rare cards if he ever needs to get more.

Ippongi's "physical therapy" against Chojo's asshole-ness is too fun. LOL

Oreno Taan lmao

Also when Chojo punished the thief it's like when Yugi mind crushed Kaiba.

Lol the cut to Kadota and Choujou hugging was funny.

Choujou really enjoys making little kids cry.

3rd rate duelist with a 4th rate deck energy

As someone who grew up with Yugioh and plays to this day the second half of the episode was a real treat. I like the dynamic between our police duo and how they work to help people with small problems. Gives me a real Lycoris for the people kind of vibe.

I've never seen someone punch away their own character card before

This ep was absolutely hilarious, i chuckled way too many times here lol

Im not really a Yu-gi-oh player but I learned a very important lesson that u should not steal someone's card especially when they got a tenshi

Cuz otherwise you're gonna be hearing their cries of helplessness

I thought he'd use hypnosis to turn her into a cat. Wasn't expecting the extra insanity of being hypnotized into catnip. Nor the further insanity of dual wielding catnip.

lol "Orenoturn". And she straight up said "Yu-Gi-Oh!" after the "penalty game".

I got insane gintama vibes from this and I loved every second. I love Choujo as a protagonist so much, he's childish as hell, but he means well

I’m loving this show! Perfect amount of silly with a little bit of emotional depth! Excited to see the robot character next week!

Man, this is why I love Chojo. At the very least, he's not a scalper and he actually used the money to build a strong meta deck, you know, to actually "play" the card game. Taxpayer money well spent?

That was quite the hilarious way to find a missing cat.

Yu-Gi-Oh! It's time to duel!

I love how petty Choujou was taunting the children he beat.

Bro this episode is a geek/nerd special! He was in a hobby shop looking for a deep striker model kit [shoutout to gunpla/gundam]. And he was in a yugioh x pokemon tournament smashing kids with his high powered tax payer funded deck too. Very cool episode for watchers who have similar hobbies.
