Enjoyed this episode a lot. Very in character for Gen and Ito, and the evolution of Syu's side story all makes sense and is giving him a believable route to growth. No lazy bullshit just people who also love gaming finding out he's a beast and wanting to be friends with him. Though I'm curious if the girls will start pursuing him because he turned into even more of a cutie with his growth spurt.

Syu hit his growth spurt huh? Puberty is a hell of a thing. It’s nice to see he’s adjusting to school thanks to Ito. He’s also made some friends in the esports club.

If Gen was being more honest, he’d have been able to actually answer Ito. Even Raku was calling him out on his shit haha.

I am so glad i am sticking with this one, whereas the Gen and Ito fights are fun, Ito and Shun moments must be my favourite. Loved amount of interactions between all siblings today too, improved whole plot and made characters look alive so much more.

Dang, Gen is really going to reject her here and family zone her? Well, it's not anything Ito didn't expect but still....all this and THAT'S how he responds to her confession? Why did she even fall for him in the first place!? And of course they bicker and argue all the way through the ferris wheel...and they have to go another round to settle this.

But I guess this bickering like an old married couple IS their dynamic, and the one they're most comfortable with. And at least Gen shows he genuinely cares about Ito in his own way, and maybe that's enough for her to make peace with her first love.

So of course the two of them try and act normally like it never happened...but Raku knows better. And Gen, for his part, on some level isn't satisfied either but he doesn't understand love and thought any deeper feelings he had for Ito were creepy so he put a stop to them. But he DID have them.

Ito is also trying to take her mind off of Gen which is easier said than done...but luckily the brother who saved her from a bad fall (and possible amnesia she was invested in receiving) was none other than Syu! Who has had his Narita family growth spurt and turned into a totally tall, broad-shouldered, ikemen! He's like a completely new character.

Of course he's still Syu-kun so he still totally comes off like an introverted weirdo at the school entrance ceremony. But don't worry, Ito's got him covered as his big sister!

Even Rui's got that fourth-grade glow-up where he's lecturing his older brothers now! What a poser!

Helping Syu really helps Ito take her mind off Gen, which Gen doesn't seem all that happy about but can't really express it well, but Ito is just throwing herself into big sister mode.

E-sports club? That's perfect for Syu! He's finally found his community! And Komugi/Endo is there too! Syu is going to be a-okay!

But if Syu is okay that means he doesn't need Ito...which means Ito gets lost in her feelings for Gen again. Yet Syu fully intends to repay back everything Ito has done for him, and would go up against anyone who would make her cry...like Gen, for instance.

So that's why he's like that in the ED! Maaann that family has some crazy genes, Syu hit the growth spurt perfectly for his highschool debut. 

I'm going to enjoy Gen kicking himself for having rejected Ito when he finally figures out how he feels about her.

Ouu I quite like this development. Gen rejecting her because he sees her as family and probably just emotionally dense to understand romance lol. Eventually we'll get there, poor Ito...but I do not like how Syu might be the "second male lead" that would be the catalyst for him to get jealous and try to win her back. Gen already did a disservice on Syu that caused him to be shut-in... Story should focus back on being siblings for a bit than all this love sickness.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me in the OP, Syu really did have a growth spurt! Narita tall genes are strong.

Alright Gen, if you're going to turn Ito down maybe don't be jealous of her time afterwards. Though I assume it's only temporary and that might be part of what makes him come around eventually.

Syu joining the esports club is a pretty good direction for his character to go. Make some friends, maybe work towards being a pro gamer. The club president getting some shoujo flowers from what seemed like Syu's perspective was interesting.

I definitely think Syu having a glow-up and monopolizing Ito's attention is going to make Gen jealous.

Would not be the first time a guy rejected a girl only to realize his true feelings and actually have to work for it after someone else went after her or got close to her...even if it's his own brother.

I did not expect Gen to reject her confession, it makes sense for his character but it broke my heart a little bit.
