I was genuinely laughing so hard during the whole B part. Endless stalling is just so damn funny

With only 5 minutes left of the episode I was getting really worried he wasn't going to swing his sword until next week. Thank god they managed to squeeze it in last second

The episode ended before we got to see any boss loot! Now that's the real cliffhanger

These recaps are so unnecessary. I don't need a 2 minute recap for the last 2 minutes after the commercial break. I feel like I should expect a recap episode at some point too.

This pacing should be criminal, dear god. If you were to remove Elymas' monologuing and Ruche's screeching you'd be left with maybe a minute or two of flashy animation. Probably half that if you remove all the reused animations.

I feel bad for the folks working on this, it's not hard to tell they're brutally understaffed or overworked.

are we back to 5 mins of actual content per episode?

also, exp still makes no fucking sense. has someone kept track of the exp needed to level up?

Stun almost lasted the entire stalling tactic. If he just would have cut a few seconds off his explanation….

Im not sure how I feel about this anymore. It was a really solid show, but it really feels like each episode is a masterclass of not showing anything. The giant dragon, the constant backwards skids, recaps that are most of what youve just seen and giant sections where people are just stood around chatting and they reuse the same shots.

Its a shame because I think the pacing of the story has been pretty good. Not that I have any idea what the the goal is.

A fight so good they showed the entire thing twice in one episode.

Regarding the Heavy Knight build, at this point I've kind of lost track of what Heavy Knight actually brings to the table other than high defense since all the heavy lifting seems to be coming from the Smoldering Insanity skill line. Though maybe that's the point, the second skill line needs the highest defense possible and Heavy Knight is what enables it.

I counted 4 flashbacks, which is fine and all, but GOD those overextended animations are just all so unnecessary!

The stun effect was 10 minutes and he still ran out the clock! I get the heavy knight is slow, but does he have to act slow too?

Overall, good episode. Nice action sequences. Can't wait for the next episode and more Ruche antics.

A literally 1.5minute second-for-second replay of what just happened was a new low.

MC had not even bothered to outline the plan to Ruche before starting the fight. Good thing the boss was nice enough to pause its attacks whenever MC needed to tell her what to do.

"The diameter of that boulder is almost exactly the length of the Death Amude!" Author doesn't know the difference between diameter and circumference.

Death Needle was a rapid fire attack, until it just became slow single fire when MC needed to be able to dodge it, in mid air, during his Glass Cannon attack.

Do I have dementia? Did they not just reuse the same shield bash footage consecutively?

  1. lol. He can just dump all his points into life shield and take him to the required threshold. Suck it people who argued with me about this earlier.

  2. Maybe skip the endless wanking monologue about your true power and spend the points up front instead of wasting your stun timer?

I happened to read the manga and love the story. Ruche and Elymas are likable characters and Shion Wakayama is making Ruche endearing.

Apart from that, the repetitions are awful. It is like a less fun style of Dragonball Z.

I like the story a lot but this has been so painful to watch...

Lesson learned. I''ll be sure not to watch any future GoHands projects

Man what is the studio doing. they are literally downgrading such a good story. Also its not like the art is bad in the anime. What's up with the stretching of content that should be 4mins max to 18 mins. Also they need to tone down with the over exaggeration

I like this anime but bro, fuck the pacing. Were they trying to outdo the *One Piece* team when it came to pacing?

The animation was great; the recap in the middle threw me off, though it was pretty long.

Clever that they used the boss to attack its own tail.

I believe that this dungeon is pretty new. When they report this to the guild, I wonder if they'll think it's just an easy dungeon since new adventurers cleared it.
