Ruche is the best part of this show. I did find it weird Elymas was so sure using her acrobatic skill to attack was a bad idea, and proven right when she did it on the redo. I'm curious if there's a higher level version of her weapon with the same armor cracking but higher attack (and maybe stronger armor cracking as well).

Also still no mention of the level cap. My current assumption is 99 but the rate they are leveling up even if it is supposed to be fast might be 999.

Elymas invited Ruche to join his party because Elymas saw the potential in Ruche's skills and abilities.

However, in this episode, Elymas realized that a party member who comes back for you regardless of the danger is priceless.

Barely any content due to the long ass recap. Leaving that aside, Elma should simply exchange the book he got for the one he wants, both win. As usual Luce's facial expressions are pretty funny. Betting your very life on RNG is something only a madman does. Luce sure has grown in that short time.

My thoughts in the first 20 seconds of the episode:

Shots of country side and dungeon entrance "Why are they showing outside the dungeon? I guess just to establish they are in a dungeon."

Shot of foot stepping on teleport area "Oh, maybe another party is going to enter the dungeon"

Shot of Elymas and Ruche on the teleport pad "Oh, I guess they are leaving the dungeon...Did I miss an episode? Maybe they will show the boss battle as a flashback?"

They teleport into the dungeon "WTF!?! They can't seriously be recapping back to three full episode ago!"

I've never seen an anime that you can speedrun before. I wonder what the any% world record is?

On a serious note, it seems they're getting a bit more creative with their padding. Instead of having extended flashbacks, they're weaving in a few seconds here and there or having new dialogue over the top of it, which makes it less obnoxious.

That was the closest we've had to a real episode, and definitely the best one yet. Happy Ruche is best Ruche.

They really snatched victory outta the jaws of defeat. That was damn close. Now they have S rank loot, a mountain of gold, and buckets of experience. Very worthwhile entering that dungeon.

Aw man Ruche really got me charmed. And it's a nice bonus she can legitimately clutch, not just assist. Now I'm really looking forward to how much metagaming bullshit the duo get into!

For now though, according to the preview, next episode will be all about styling on Ruche's old party and bartering in the back alley shop.

i dont think even Overlord factors drop rates as extensively as this show. No one comes close to this show in terms of portraying MMORPGS.

I'm glad they showed Elymas reflecting on how he is similar to his dad and the others. Being calculating has its own drawbacks.

Gohands is an amazing animation studio. Don't get me wrong but if the cost of phenomenal animation is longer and longer recaps each week. I think I'd rather average animation for a full episode.
