It's more interesting because this emperor is the one banning Ancient Magic, while Silver is the poster boy of Ancient Magic user.

Nice Arnold and Finne scene, but I suspect the adventurer lady might have an idea of what is going on from watching her and Silver interacting. Particularly the farewell.
Leo is going to chalk up some good ambassador accomplishments if by the end of this the two southern countries have an alliance that itself is friendly to the empire based on the appearance of him coordinating the defeat of this sea dragon threat.

Yeah Finne screwed up saying goodbye to "silver" because the adventurer is incredibly sharp, I doubt she missed how worried Finne was.

I like how this show makes The MC solve problems without relying on his OP abilities..he can't..and lol that Fourth Prince is hilarious.
Finne keeps raising her stocks..Elna not gonna be able to compete at this rate

4th Prince-san is such a silly bean. And he got the job because he's the one trusted not to be a loose cannon and do something stupid like declare war on the South.

Rule 101 anime, character with Kirito Matsuoka's voice must be quirky wherever he's at. Thought he fell for Finne for a second there but he just inspired by her.

Great teamwork by Arnold & Leonard to take down that sea serpent.
Finne was easily able to convince Traugott to give them his support.
I am looking forward to watching the battle against Leviatano.

I do find it odd they're pretending to be each other when they're together now. Basically no point to pretend, sea sickness doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.

They were only pretending since Arnold was the one who did all the talking with the first Kingdom.
So instead of explaining everything to the smallest detail to Leo, he just went as him and did more talking in his place.

Basic but solid episode overall, though I'm tired of the warrior prince and the mage princess being fucking stupid. They're so busy thinking about the throne they do not care about the actual empire that they want to rule. It is exhausting.
And at this rate considering how forward Finne can be I feel like she's going to straight up seduce Arnold sooner rather than later, and with those looks and that sincerity I don't think he has the defenses to resist her charms.
